BIRCHALL, Sheila Elizabeth (formerly ARGENT, née YEATES)
Passed away on Friday April 4, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Norman BIRCHALL (2003) and the late George ARGENT (1970.) Cherished and dearly loved mother of James ARGENT and his wife Liisa and Joanne PUTTOCK and her husband Doug. Loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by special granddaughter Sarah and close Friends. At Sheila's request, cremation will be followed by a private interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Woodbridge, Ontario. WOOD, Margaret Eleanor, (1920-2008)
Passed away peacefully, at A.R. Goudie Eventide Home, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in her 88th year. Dear sister of Winifred ARGUE of Courtney, British Columbia, Hazel HUMPHRIES of Walkerton and Joyce WOOD of Toronto. Predeceased by brothers Ralph, Kenneth and Fredrick and sister Dora FLEUHR. Margaret will be missed by a large circle of nephews, nieces and Friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, March 13 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14 at 1: 00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Breslau. ARGYLE, Lois Ann (née MEREDITH)
Of Port Stanley, and formerly of Stratford, Markham and Kitchener, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 63rd year. Dearly loved wife of Gord ARGYLE and loved mother of Drew and his wife Kim GLOVER of Orangeville and David GLOVER of Kitchener and dear step-mother of Brock ARGYLE of Goderich and Sean ARGYLE of London. Loved grandmother of Benjamin, Brett and Shay. Dear sister of Lorna and her husband Murray SCARLETT of Barrie and Larry and his wife Eleanor MEREDITH of Texas. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Lois was born in Saint Thomas on May 7th, 1945, the daughter of the late William MEREDITH and Mary KEY. She was a retired Hairdresser. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation, with interment in South Park Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society. Of Mitchell formerly of Seaforth and McKillop Twp. on Tuesday July 8, 2008 at Stratford General Hospital in his 82nd year. Robert HARRIS beloved husband of Rose Elizabeth (Betty) HARRIS (COOKE,) and dear father of Shirley WOLFKAMP (Tony,) Mitchell, Ronald (Catharine) HARRIS, Mitchell, Vickie DOIG and Larry (Skinny) BROOME, Mitchell. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children, and four sisters Audrey (Wally) MOTTERSHEAD, Nanimao, British Columbia, Yvonne (Gord) DOUGHERTY, Goderich, Dianne (Steve) ARGYLE, Bayfield. and Catherine HARRIS, Harriston. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Marion (McDOUGALL) HARRIS, one granddaughter Amanda WOLFKAMP and three brothers Bill, Ken, and Gerald. There will be no funeral home visitation, a memorial service will be held at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W. Seaforth on Thursday July 10, at 3: 00 p.m. Lunch to follow at Seaforth Legion. Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will be at Maitlandbank Cemetery at a later date. Peacefully, with his loving family and caregivers at his side, on Wednesday April 2nd, 2008 at Carefree Lodge, Toronto in his 81st year. Charlie, beloved husband of Thelma for 57 years; loving father of Ken and wife Dorothy, grand_son Alex; Nancy and husband Gord SOMMERVILLE, grandchildren Paige and Spencer; and, Cathy and husband Richard HINTON, grandchildren Brittany and Zackary.
