Jan spent her career helping others in counseling and employment
equity services in Toronto, Ottawa and Belleville. Her gift for
Friendship and passion for life will be greatly missed by Friends
and family in Canada, the U.S., England and Ireland. The family
will receive Friends for a Memorial Service at the Burke Funeral
Home, 150 Church Street, 613-968-6968 on Saturday, May 17, 2008

Of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Saint Thomas Elgin General
Hospital on Friday, June 27 on the day of her 92nd birthday.
She was born in Pamel, Belgium and was the beloved wife of 62 years
of Albert ANCKAERT of Aylmer. Mary will also be greatly missed
by her children: Gert
ANCKAERT of London, Chris and his wife
Deb of Dorchester, Rita
FERGUSON and her husband Roger of Eden,
Loretta THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and her husband Jim of Aylmer, Ben and his wife
Bonnie of Aylmer. She will be lovingly remembered by all of her
grandchildren: Eleanor

She is also survived by two sisters and one brother.
She was predeceased by two children: Marc (1995) and Lieve (2004).
Mary was a 50 year member of the Catholic Women's League of Our
Lady of Sorrows Church in Aylmer. She worked as a Red Cross Homemaker
for a number of years after "retiring" from her work with Albert
on the farm. Mary was a loving and devoted wife and mother who
will always be remembered for her kindness and courage. Friends
may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. where Catholic Women's League prayers will be held on
Sunday at 4: 00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday,
June 30, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
