Chris will also be greatly missed by his cousins, aunts and uncles,
nieces and nephews, and many good Friends. Chris will be remembered
for his generosity and concern for others, which brought him
and Cynthia together, his warm sense of humour and mischievous
nature. The family will receive Friends Friday, July 11th at
York Cemetery and Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North
York (1 block west of Yonge Street, north of Sheppard), 416-221-3404.
Private Family viewing 1: 30 p.m. Doors to the Chapel will open
at 2: 30 p.m. with a Public Service at 3:00 p.m. Reception to
follow at 1 Alvarado Place, North York. In lieu of flowers donations
may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Passed away quietly on January 18, 2008, at North York General
Hospital, less than one month prior to his 88th birthday, following
a courageous battle with a lingering illness. Beloved husband
of Edna Evelyn

history and background. He spoke often of his family connection

was a pioneer in the television and broadcast rating business.
Past President, Broadcast Executives Society; Past Director,
Saint Bernard's Convalescent Hospital. Initiated into Freemasonry
64 years ago, and
an Honorary Life Member of Zetland Wilson Lodge
Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons No. 86, Toronto. Fifty year
member of the Scottish Rite (Toronto Lodge of Perfection and
Toronto Sovereign Chapter Rose Croix), Moore Sovereign Consistory,
Hamilton, and Rameses Shriners, Toronto, where he was an Honorary
Member of the Founders Unit. Forty-eight year member of Royal
Order of Jesters, Toronto Court 83; Past President, Desert Jesters
Charter Member, Liftlock Billiken Club; Life Member, Kachina
Klub; and Member, Fraternal Order of SOBIB. Commissioned
as a Member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. As a
youth, he was a championship swimmer, and was proud of the Royal
Life Saving Society award he received at the age of 16 in 1936.
A keen golfer, he enjoyed the many happy years he was able to
spend hitting the fairways in his beloved Palm Springs, California.
He volunteered for many years as a marshal at the Bob Hope Desert
Classic Golf Tournament. He was proud to be elected as a fifty
year Honorary Member of the Lambton Golf and Country Club, Toronto.
