It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chuck HARRISON on February 16, 2008, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Janet (née GRAYSON.) Devoted father and father-in-law to Barbara, Cathy (David RACINE) and Nancy (Derrick GLEED.) Cherished grandfather to Gareth, Adam and Amanda. Loving brother-in-law to Norma and Jim TREBETT of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Chuck will be fondly remembered by his uncle Eddie of Calgary, his nephews Dave, Rick and Tom of Vancouver Island, his cousins and many Friends. Chuck began his distinguished career with the T. Eaton Company in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and during his 49 years made invaluable contributions serving in several senior management roles, culminating in his position as General Manager of the Toronto Suburban Stores. In his retirement, Chuck continued his love of retail by volunteering as a consultant with The Salvation Army for their retail outlet stores. The family will receive Friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding Avenue, south of Steeles, on Thursday, February 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday, February 22nd at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada. Peacefully in his sleep, of old age, at 98, on Tuesday June 3, 2008. Eldest son of William Chalmers GALL and Edythe Cameron (née TREBILCOCK) of Toronto. Loving husband to the late Eleanor Catherine (née MEECH.) Much loved 'Dad' to his sons Harold (Nancy) and Cameron (Gail), 'Poppa' to his grand_son Brendan and 'Grampa Cam' to Gail's children Kristin, Stephanie (Domenic), Eric, Brian and David. Cam is lovingly remembered by brother Murray, sister-in-law Ruth GALL and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers George and Jack, sister Peg, and brothers and sisters-in-law Grace GALL, Athol MEECH, Marion MEECH, Len and Nina MEECH and Harold and Dorothy MEECH. Cam was a very kind and contented man who loved to spend time with his family at the 'Limberlost Cabin' in Muskoka and at 'Meech Haven' on Lake Scugog in the Kawarthas. Born and raised in Toronto, he attended Brown Public School and Upper Canada College. Along with his father and brother George, he owned and operated The Gall Lumber Company in Weston, Ontario. In keeping with his wishes, a family memorial gathering in celebration of Cam's life will be held. The family wishes to thank the very compassionate and caring staff of Sunrise of Unionville, Cam's 'Home' for the past four and one half years. Resting peacefully now Elsie Eileen BAYLESS left us on Friday, July 18, 2008 in her 80th year to join her late husband Al. She is survived by her sons Jim (Lynda) BAYLESS of Ingersoll and Tim BAYLESS of Scottsville. Her grandchildren Chris (Meg,) Walt (Claire) and Damien. She was the great-grandmother to Sophie. Also survived by her sister Kay TREEHUBA, London and longtime friend Sally RICE, London. Predeceased by her husband Al (1997.) Her parents Joe and Ethel HOWE of Glencoe, her brothers Cliff, Joe, Bill and Lawrence and her sisters Dorothy and Ruth. Elsie was born in Windsor on September 22, 1928 and raised in Glencoe. Her career started at Bell Telephone as an operator where she met Al. But what she is most remembered for is as "Yummy" the camp cook at Camp Kee-Mo-Kee and Camp Towhee for her famous meals and great humour. She completed her working career on the floor of Eaton's in Wellington Square, from which she retired to look after her pets and her garden. Elsie successfully battled and survived cancer. Peacefully, with family at his side at Parkwood Hospital, London, Saturday, February 9, 2008 after a long battle with bone marrow disease, George Edward BECKINGHAM in his 87th year. Cherished husband of the late W. Joy BECKINGHAM (née NICHOLS.) Much loved father of Terry (Valerie) of the The Pas, Manitoba, and daughter Susan STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of London. Dear grandfather of Jennifer (Jason) of The Pas, Manitoba, George B. BECKINGHAM (Frances) of Coquitlam, British Columbia, great-grandfather of Adam, Anne, Jack and Jane. Loved by sisters Mary (LANE) and Luella (ALLISTON) of Hamilton and sister-in-law Doreen TREITZ (née Nichols) of Sudbury and Audrey LAMB (née NICHOLS) of North Bay, nieces, grand nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many other Friends and extended family. George was born to George and Philomena (NIELSEN) BECKINGHAM of Hamilton, October 23, 1921. He was a member of the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders and served his country in war with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After many years as District Manager with the Fuller Brush Company in Winnipeg and Burlington, and known for his meticulous work habits, he was sought after by, and contracted with, many large companies. George was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #501, Lambeth, where he was welcomed and cared for by members and Friends. Many thanks to them and a very special tribute to the nurses and staff of the Western Counties Wing, #3rd Floor "Kent" and Doctor D. CAVANAUGH for their outstanding care of our Dad. At George's request, there is to be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment alongside his sweetheart "Joy" at Burlington Memorial Gardens. It is with heavy hearts and a lifetime of memories that we share in the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Mina TRELIVING.
Mina was born in Virden, Manitoba where she spent her married life and raised her family. In 2000, she moved to Calgary, Alberta and resided there until her passing.
Mina passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 2, 2008 in Palm Springs, California. She joined her beloved Ted (1987) and cherished grand_son Chadwyck LONGMAN (1992) as well as her parents James and Mary GARDNER and siblings Mowbry, Rita, Melvin, Cecil, Douglas and Lawson through Heaven's Gate.
Mina was an inspiration to all that crossed her path and will be truly missed by many. Her wisdom and stories will live on through her cherished family. She is survived by her children Jim and wife Sandi TRELIVING, Joy and husband Guy LONGMAN, Pat and husband John BASTONE; grandchildren Cheryl, Brad and wife Julie TRELIVING, Jody and husband Darcy McILWAIN, Grant, Scott and Brock BASTONE, Kate and Dan BEAUCHAMP; great-grandchildren Candace, Sam, Chad, Brock, Ryann and Reese. She will be deeply missed by her sister Mae ROBERTS and numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family has been blessed to have had Mina a part of our lives for so many wonderful years. She would wish for all those reading this to live each day to the fullest. Professor Emeritus, Ivey School of Business University of Western Ontario On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 after struggling valiantly with Lewy Body Dementia. Beloved husband of Dorothy (MARTIN). Loved by his daughter, Jodi, his sons, Sandy (Nicole SPRIET,) and Rob (Lisa TREMAINE,) and by his five grandchildren, Brooke, Kelsey, Kristen, Owen and Keira. Al's life revolved around his family, his vocation, and his athletic activities. He began his long association with the Ivey Business School (then known as the Western Business School) as a student in the MBA program, where he won the gold medal. He went on to earn a PhD from Western, the first person to be granted a PhD in Business from a Canadian University. As a professor in the Ivey School, he was honoured with the Edward G. Pleva Award for Excellence in Teaching. He was also inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Concordia University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree, primarily for his achievements as a basketball player. Even approaching the later stages of his disease, he was still playing basketball regularly. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 31st, 2008, at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al's memory to the Richard Ivey School of Business, 1151 Richmond Street North, London, Ontario, N6A 3K7.

My Final Broadcast Peacefully and prayerfully, in my 69th year, after a courageous battle at Alexandra Hospital surrounded by my family on June 2, 2008 our Lord welcomed me home. I leave behind my devoted and adoring wife of 47 years Diane (TREMBLAY,) and my 5 loving children and their spouses. Jerry Jr. and his wife Roxanne (ANTAYA,) Terry and his wife Terryanne (CARROLL,) Mark and his wife Sherri (SMITH,) Michelle and her husband Jim (MERRIFIELD,) Nicole and her husband Dany (JACQUES.) I will continue to watch over my beautiful grandchildren that gave me more joy than I ever thought possible - Jessica and John DANIEL, Kyle and Brittany DANIEL and Brandi and Daniel LEWIS, Tara and Mitchell DANIEL, Mark and Matthew MERRIFIELD and "Peanut" Jacques as well as my sister Pat PROUSE of Ingersoll. I have been reunited with those who went before including my mom Delia (GATES) 1989 and dad Naboth 1996. My life has been full and blessed. I was fortunate to love my chosen career in broadcasting which spanned over 40 years. Starting at CFCO in Chatham, CHOK in Sarnia, SJCS Stratford, CFPL London, and finally CKOT Tillsonburg where I forged many lifelong Friendships. I also derived joy from my many years of DJ work. It is hard to imagine the number of first dance songs I played for newlyweds over the years and the people who knew me by my unique speakers. I express special thanks to our family physician Doctor Kelly SHAUGHNESSEY who was a tremendous support throughout and the loving care given by the Alexandra Hospital staff. In regards to my illness I am indebted to Woodstock Urologist Doctor VOGALIN and excellent medical staff at the London Regional Cancer Centre including Doctor Mary McKENZIE and her assistants Grace and Paul. He was the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Clarkson, a longtime Cub Scout leader, and a 38 year member of the Oakville Golf Club. Dear father of Rikki-Lei TRESIDDER and Gary WILLIAMS of Cobalt. Step-father to Jim and Evelyn PRICE of Edmonton and Jeff and Julie PRICE of Nova Scotia. Grandfather to eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Celebration of life will be held at the Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 132 River Road E., Wasaga Beach on Friday June 6th, 2008 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
