Pam died unexpectedly, but peacefully and quickly, at her home in Christie Gardens, Toronto on Friday, May 9th, 2008, three weeks after her 90th birthday. Beloved mother of Roger of Calgary, Stephen, Anne (Ray) and Heather of Toronto. Adored Granny of Monique VAUTOUR and Teresa. Fondly remembered by John B. CHETWYND of Vancouver, British Columbia. Predeceased by her siblings Laton, Joan ROSSETTI and Henry. Pam will be lovingly remembered by all her nieces and nephews, and by extended family in England, Australia and New Zealand. As a mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, teacher, musician, knitter, traveller and lifelong learner, Pam lived life to the fullest. She will be remembered by all for her sweet character, kindness and concern for others. Thoughtful, gracious and forgiving, she met everyone with a warm smile and endearing word. She always loved a good laugh and retained her sense of humour to the end. Special thanks to the staff of Christie Gardens for the gentle and loving care they provided over the past few years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place in Rosedale United Church, 159 Roxborough Drive, Toronto, M4W 1X7 on Wednesday, June 4 at 4: 00 o'clock. Died peacefully at Grandwood Park, London on Monday, July 21, 2008, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Ann (1988) and the late Mary Burns ROSSIE (2003.) Lovingly remembered by his sons Richard and John (Mary McNUTT) and his grandchildren Brigid and Ian. James was born August 14, 1920 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He served with the No. 8 Canadian General Hospital in World War 2. He retired from a career in public administration in 1985 as assistant registrar at the University of Regina. He is widely remembered as a gentleman and a collector of books. Thanks to Doctors Ian PATERSON and A.S. KHAN and the staff of Grandwood Park for the special care extended to James. Beloved husband of Eva (née LONEY) for 56 years. Loving father of Scott and Kathryn of R.R.#1, Woodstock and Blake and Marion of R.R.#5, Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Amanda, Marnie (Mike SCHNEIDER,) Jessica, Christopher and Jennifer, and great-grandfather of Amelie SCHNEIDER. Brother of Jim KRAMER (Pat) of Ingersoll, and brother-in-law of Joanne KRAMER of Port Elgin, Helen MOIR of Brantford and Mary RUSSELL of London. Also survived by two aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as Friends.
