Age 87, of London, passed away at Parkwood Hospital, on Saturday,
March 29, 2008. He was born in Lowestoft, England and came to
Canada in 1920.

Nova Scotia. He was the grandfather of 7 grandchildren and great-grandfather
of 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Norman
and Leonard. Edward served 33 years with the Canadian army, overseas
World War II, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and United
Nations Emergency Force, retiring as a Master Warrant Officer.
He took leave for a year then returned to Base Maintenance as
a civilian mechanic for 11 years. He was a member of the Royal
Canadian Army Service Corps, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical
Engineers, Blue Beret, Federal Superannuates National Association
Associations and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #119, Ingersoll.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
with a Legion service at 7: 00 p.m. under the auspices of the
Duchess of Kent Branch #263 at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland
Road North where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday,
