Loving wife of the late James Alexander CUNNINGHAM (2001.) Devoted mother of Joanne CORMIER and her partner Robert CLARKE, of Lion's Head, and Mary Louise CUNNINGHAM- SMITH and her husband Greg SMITH, of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Alexander WHITTAKER (Anne,) David CORMIER (Jessica,) Justin CORMIER, John CORMIER (Christine), Jason CLARKE, and Amanda CLARKE and great-grandmother of Abigal, Annabelle, Lily and Hannah. Sadly missed by her niece Claudia LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH, of North Carolina; her cousin Penny MUNROE, of Toronto; and Friends Nancy HOWALD, of Miller Lake, Beth MARTELL, of Lion's Head, Linda SCHAEFER of Wiarton, and Al MUTCH, of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her brother Robert BROOKFIELD. Betty served during World War 2 as an Army Captain stationed at Canadian Forces Base Borden. Cremation has taken place. Betty's daughters invite Friends to join with them for a Celebration of Life memorial at Joanne's home (25 Jackson's Cove Rd., R.R.#3 Lion's Head) on Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at 3 o'clock. Predeceased by her loving friend and husband Lloyd A. TUNKS (1987,) her mother Sarah Mae MUNROE (née TURNER,) her step-father William E. MUNROE and her brother Kinsley MUNROE. Dearly loved and sadly missed by daughter Carol JEWELL (Don) and son Floyd TUNKS, granddaughters Myah NORRIS (Hugh), Carla JEWELL, Erika SOUTHERN (Mark), Chad TUNKS (Kelly), Rhonda McCAFFREY (Sean), Bambi TUNKS (David SCHELTEMA) and six great-grandchildren. Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 76th year. Dearly loved husband of Lenore (WEST) FLINTOFT and loved father of Kimberley and his wife Wendy FLINTOFT of Aylmer, Kathy and her husband Brian WILLIAMS of Aylmer and step-father of Christine CLUNAS of Saint Thomas. Loved grandfather of Jon, Mike, Curtis, Jennifer, Amanda and Racheal. Dear brother of Jean and her husband Morley BROWN of Saint Thomas, Ruby and her husband Bill EDEN of Sweaburg and the late Dorothy JAGOE. Sadly missed by 5 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Saint Thomas on July 3rd, 1932, the son of the late George Albert and Alma Grace (MUNROE) FLINTOFT. He was retired from Laidlaw Transport and also had driven for Hepburn Transport. Bob had received an award for over 3,000,000 miles of safe driving. He was a member of the T Meadow Hunt club, an avid outdoorsman and trap shooter. Beloved wife of the late Neil John McFARLANE (2002) and dearly loved mother of Linda and her husband Michael ROESNER, Ann and her husband John MUNROE, John and his wife Lori McFARLANE and James McFARLANE, all of Saint Thomas. Dear sister-in-law of Wilma HATHAWAY of Chatham. Predeceased by 3 brothers Marvin, Morley and Russell HATHAWAY and by a sister Bernice BURNS. After a second valiant battle with cancer, John passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2008. Loving husband of Audrey for 54 years. Survived by his children John, Thomas (Lisa,) Lisa MUNSTER (Simon,) and Peter (Heloisa). He will be greatly missed by his Grandchildren Ian, Jacob, Sean, Ryan, Devon, John and Nick. Survived by his brother Clif (Bobbie) and brother-in-law Alan SINCLAIR. John was a passionate golfer, avid Bridge player, and ardent follower of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Predeceased by her husband Manfred in 1965, "Muetti" will be sadly missed by her son Manfred and wife Terezia, her daughter Christina and husband Doug, her 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren including: Derrick and his wife Soni and children Mackenzie and Noah; Trevor and wife Monica and children Marin and Logan; Tanya and husband Anthony and children Benjamin and Alexander; Lisa and fiancé Jonathan FREEMAN; and Terence and wife Suzanne and children Katherine and Samuel.
