Passed away suddenly in Jellico, Tennessee on Saturday March 29, 2008, Ross LEEDHAM of St. Williams in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Lavona (née ROSS) whom he married October 15, 1949. Dear father of Rev. Debra LEEDHAM of Waterford, David and his wife Jackie of R.R.#2 St. Williams. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chuck and Jess, Andy, Cody, Samantha and great-granddaughter Emilie. Survived by his brothers Murray of Trenton and Doctor Stewart and wife Marlene of Wingham. Peacefully at North York Seniors Health Centre - Wednesday May 21, 2008 in her 101st year.
Loving mother of Peter and Valerie and daughter-in-law Florence. Nana will be remembered by her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mother played tennis until the age of 88. Along with her sister, Marjorie LEEMING, she won the Canadian Open Tennis Ladies Doubles championships in 1930 and 1932. Included in her accomplishments were numerous club championships at the Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto, in women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles from 1948 to 1977. She became a local tennis legend.
Mother was also Akala at the 1st York Mills Cub Pack in the late 1940's, was the first woman chairperson on the North York School Board, as well as past President of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the loving and caring staff at the Seniors Health Centre.

COX, Kathryn A. Behan (1947-2008)
'Candy' to her many Friends and business associates, lost her 20 year battle with cancer and passed away in the Palliative unit of Bridgepoint Health Centre on April 9th, 2008 in her 61st year.
A graduate of York University, the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and the Education Ministry's Business Supervisory Officers program, she worked for the Boards of Education for the City of Toronto, the City of York and the Toronto District School Board for a year following the amalgamation of the Metro Toronto School Boards. Specializing in the field of Communications and school board Administration, she held senior positions with both the York Board of Education and the Toronto District School Board. A pioneer in many innovative methods of keeping the community at large informed on school board activities, including for 15 years, during her time with the York Board, producing, directing and hosting a weekly half hour program on cable television centered on happenings throughout the York Board of Education. In 1985, she founded and was the founding President of a national organization catering to the interests of Communications Administrators in the education field.
In her retirement, as Vice President of C/W and Associates, she served as a volunteer Director of the Macaulay Child Development Centers, as a publications consultant to the Ontario Public School Boards Association, as editor of her condominium's newsletter and as an active member of the executive of the York Board of Education Employees' Alumni Association.
Candy will be sorely missed by Bob WEINERT, her husband and partner for the last 24 years; her brother Patrick BEHAN and his wife Anne; nephews David BEHAN, Jason VAIL and his wife Rita and their children Mason, Allesandra and Lilah of St. Catherine's; Matt VAIL and his wife Victoria of Victoria British Columbia; and her step-daughter, Margaret Ann LEES of Richmond Hill, Ontario

At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2008, Susan Maria Agnes NYENHUIS (née VANLEEUWEN,) recently of Woodstock and formerly of Stratford, in her 72nd year after a long struggle with cancer. Daughter of the late William Sr. and Agnes (nee TOUW) VANLEEUWEN. Beloved wife of Gerald for 49 years. Dear mother of Joanne DUTTMANN of Amherstburg, Wilbur NYENHUIS (Debbie) of London, Tom NYENHUIS (Yvonne) of Stratford, Rosemary CHRISTOPHER (Paul) of Toronto, Christine SCHAAFSMA (Jeff) of Woodstock, Michael NYENHUIS of London, Steven NYENHUIS (Jacky) of London, and the late Susan (1971). Loving grandmother of Lisa, Cheryl, Corinne, Berendina, Hazel, Gerald, Austin, Lawrence, Sophia and Gabriella and great-grandmother of Daniel.
