At home in Toronto in his 70th year. son of the late Lt. Col. Nicol KINGSMILL, E.D., Q.C. and Kathleen Alice Mary WEBSTER. Predeceased by his sister, Sara (Sally) Elizabeth KINGSMILL (1992.) Beloved Father of Sara Helen Helling (née KINGSMILL) and her husband Glen, and Nicol Christian KINGSMILL and his wife Marta. Granddad to Maitland, Rachel, Hanna and Ryan. Nic suffered from congenital heart disease all his life and through good times and bad was sustained by the loyalty and love of his many Friends, especially Joseph CAIRNS, also by his late uncle, D'Arcy KINGSMILL and aunt, Mary SEAGRAM. Sincere gratitude to Doctor Douglas CAMERON and Doctor Eric KOTZER and Annabelle for their many years of care. Nic was educated at Upper Canada College (Class of '57), McGill University and Ryerson University. He was a former journalist with "The Hamilton Spectator", "The Toronto Telegram", and "Southam Business Publications". He was the 25th generation of his family from 1273 which came to Canada in 1827 and a fourth generation member of Saint_James Cathedral at King and Church, where his funeral will take place on Saturday April 12th at 11 a.m. Donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Of Hanover, passed away at Sick Children's Hospital, Toronto on Wednesday, February 06, 2008, in her 2nd year. She died in the arms of her mommy and daddy and is now in the loving arms of Christ. Survived by proud parents Wyatt and Kerrie KINGSTON. She was the first grandchild to Robert and Joyce FORD of R.R.#3 Hanover and Bill and Merle KINGSTON of R.R.#2 Dobbinton. Also survived by maternal great-grandma Madeline FORD of Hanover and paternal great-grandma Blanche SCHOPF of Wiarton. Emma will be sadly missed by her uncle Brian FORD, aunt Pat SKINNER, aunt Blair KINGSTON and uncle Paul SPITZIG. Suddenly, but peacefully as a result of complications and of Alzheimer's, we sadly announce the passing of Doris Elva (WEED) KINNA of Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia and formerly of Alvinston in her 83rd year on Sunday, May 4, 2008. Beloved wife of 60 years, to Glen KINNA of Alvinston. Dear and precious mother to son Roger (Colleen) KINNA of Alvinston. Predeceased by her daughter, Karen CASE (2007) and son-in-law Bill CASE (2004) and a brother Lyle WEED (2006.) Survived by one sister, Wilma PARKE of Oil Springs and brother Maurice WEED of Hemlock, Michigan. Doris leaves behind her grandchildren, Jeff (Helen) KINNA and their son Brayden (6 months,) Matt (Jillian) KINNA and their newborn daughter Izzy (May 2, 2008) all of Watford, Steve (Aleesha) GRAY/GREY and their daughter Emma of Glencoe and Stacey (Dale) GORDON and their son Devon of Marthaville. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River St. Alvinston for the funeral service to be held on Tuesday, May 6 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service. Cremation with a private interment service at Alvinston Cemetery. Doris was a very caring and giving person and will always be remembered for that. She was actively involved in the Baptist Church where she attended and played the piano and organ in the choir. Doris also taught for many years, which brought her great pleasure, as well as operating several businesses with Glen in Alvinston over the years. Wasaga Beach drowning victim didn't know how to swim
The young man who drowned at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park's Beach Area Two Saturday has been identified as 20-year-old Irfan Abdul Samed JOGIAT.
Jumped Into Deep Water
Police say the Toronto man was reportedly a non-swimmer but, for unknown reasons, jumped out of the dinghy he was floating in when it was blown into deeper water that was within the marked swimming area.
Police say he then disappeared into the water.
When police arrived on scene around 4: 30 a paramedic and a bystander were performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on the unconscious man. He was then transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A forensic examination was conducted Sunday.
"Police are treating this tragedy as non-suspicious pending a toxicology report," they said.
Const. Mark KINNEY said Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police's marine unit retrieved the dinghy during the incident.

Police say he then disappeared into the water.
When police arrived on scene around 4: 30 p.m., a paramedic and a bystander were performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on the unconscious man. He was then transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A forensic examination was conducted Sunday.
"Police are treating this tragedy as non-suspicious pending a toxicology report," they said.
Const. Mark KINNEY said Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police's marine unit retrieved the dinghy during the incident.

She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and became an accomplished sewer, bridge player and golfer. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Friends may call at the H.A. Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Monday, June 2nd, 2008, at his late residence, in his 65th year. Loved partner and friend of Grace MILLER and dear brother of Lena HOWALD of Arkona. Predeceased by 3 brothers Joe, George and Frank KINSMAN and by 4 sisters Lillian CALCUTT, Lorna MARR, Louise FIVEASH and Margaret LAMPMAN. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Charlie was the Charter President and Director of the Saint Thomas Oldtimers Hockey. He also played baseball and hockey and coached a number of years. Charlie was a retired truck driver. He received a Citizenship award for 12 years of dedicated service to the residents of 200 Chestnut Street. William Lindsay LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH (Bill,) passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Sunday May 4th, 2008 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, after a long struggle with Inclusion Body Myositis. Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara Ann LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH for over 55 years, loving and devoted father of Thomas B. LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH, his wife Carol of Stittsville, and granddaughters Victoria and Rebecca, daughter Lindsay A. LACKIE of Cambridge and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Virginia Kate and fiancé Rob BOOTH, Andrew and Ian, and daughter Kate D. LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH of Toronto. Favourite uncle to Stephen and A. Ryder (Sandy) KINSMAN of Montreal and Suzanne CARLAW of Midhurst. He was predeceased by his sister, Aubrey Ellen KINSMAN and great niece Victoria KINSMAN of Montreal. Growing up in Montreal he was an avid skier, golfer, squash player and all time 'Tinkerer' (he claimed he could 'fix' anything). He graduated from University of Toronto where he met Barbara. He worked for many years with Cabot Carbon of Canada, in Toronto and upon retiring, moved to Kitchener Waterloo. He was a dedicated volunteer at Community Care Access Centre and sat on many committees at Luther Village on the Park. The family would like to acknowledge the extraordinary kindness and professional care he received during his stay at Saint Mary's Hospital. At Bill's request, there will be a quiet immediate family only service, followed by visitation on Thursday May 8th, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo 519-745-8445. Special grandfather of Justin, Tamsyn, Ashlynn, Geoff and twins Mathew and Kailey.
