Suddenly at her residence in Meaford, on Saturday, April 26th, 2008. The former Marian HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart McKIBBON, loved mother of Joan and her husband Brian JENSEN and Janice and her husband Bruce MENARD all of Meaford and Linda and her husband Robert DOBIE of Angus. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley and Mary-Lou. Predeceased by two brothers Bill and Gord. Resting at The Gardiner-Wilson Funeral Home, Meaford, where a funeral service will be conducted by Rev, Judith OLIVER on Wednesday April 30th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford. Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Friday, July 25th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 76th year. Husband of Shirley (CLARKE) ROACH and father of Earl ROACH and fiancee Marsha of Strathroy, Janet Elizabeth and her husband Ron SMELTZ of Trout Creek and Shirley Mae ROACH of Alberta. Brother of Barbara COLTSON, Velda CAMPBELL, Helen TAPP, Allison ROACH and Minnie STEVES. Predeceased by 2 sisters Stacey ROACH and Ruth McDONALD and by 4 brothers William, Earl, Morton and Paul ROACH. Grandfather of Michael, Steven and Pamela ROACH, Robert and Angela JENSEN and great-grandfather of Lillian JENSEN and Tamara SCHMERBAUCH. Cutler was born in Darnley, Prince Edward Island on September 1, 1932, the son of the late Fred and Elizabeth (INMAN) ROACH. He worked on the nursing staff at the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital and also drove truck. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.

SNOOK, William Samuel (1922-2008)
William S. SNOOK passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2008, in Savannah, Georgia, after a short illness at the age of 85. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1922 to Joseph and Eleanor (HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON) SNOOK, and spent his formative years in Halifax and the Musquodoboit Valley. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Juene (MARSHALL) SNOOK; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Amy (BASCO) SNOOK of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario daughter, Suzanne M. JENSEN of Copetown, Ontario; and four adoring grandchildren, Kirsten and Taylor JENSEN, and Jonathon and Emily SNOOK. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Nancy Anne. He is well-remembered by an extended network of family in Nova Scotia and the rest of Canada and by Friends across North America, the Caribbean and the world. Bill and Juene made their home on a scenic golf course at the Landings on Skidaway Island for the past 20 years after a nomadic, but faithful 43-year business career with the Royal Bank of Canada took them from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, as well as to Trinidad and New York City. Starting from a humble position as a branch clerk in Nova Scotia, Bill, in succession, managed the Bank's main branch in Montreal, its Caribbean branch network, all of its South American and Caribbean operations, and a significant portion of the Bank's business in Ontario. He retired in 1983 as a Senior Vice President responsible for Royal Bank of Canada's operations in the United States to consult to various companies, travel extensively with Juene, manage his investments, and sharpen his golf game. Bill also served in the Canadian Air Force as a Flying Officer in the Second World War and was a member of the Masonic Lodge - Montreal Chapter. A simple memorial service was held on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Chapel in Savannah. The family will establish a website at www.billsnook.com in the next few days and welcomes visits and personal comments and stories. The family requests that remembrances be made to the Landings Library and the American and Canadian Cancer Societies in lieu of flowers.

MARCHMENT, Patricia Anne
Passed away on January 25, 2008 at Meaford, Ontario in her 80th year from lung cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Alan, sister Marthe (Norman) CROUCHER and sister-in-law Donna ELLINS. Greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Fay (Walter) JENSEN and son Stephen (Beverley) MARCHMENT, grandchildren Eric, Frank, and Alice Jensen, Andrew, James and Thomas MARCHMENT, and nephews and nieces. Pat was a lifelong supporter of universities and the arts. She was a tireless member of the Toronto Symphony Women's Committee for over 40 years. Cremation has taken place and internment will be made at Park Lawn Cemetery, Etobicoke. Friends and Family are invited to attend a reception to be held at the York Club, 135 St. George Street, Toronto between 4: 00 p.m. and 6: 00 p.m. on Monday February 11, 2008. Parking is available.

Mrs. Irene Florence GOWDY, age 93, passed away peacefully at Greenwood Court, Stratford on Monday, February 25, 2008. She was born in Chatham, New Brunswick. Daughter of the late David and Florence STILL. Irene was active most of her life in girl guiding, nursing and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. She was a member of the Ontario Street Baptist Church, Stratford. Predeceased by her husband William K. GOWDY in 1982, by a daughter and son-in-law Pam and Alex L'HEUREUX, by her son David GOWDY and daughter-in-law Brenda GOWDY. Survived by her children Glenna JENSON, Ken GOWDY, Brent GOWDY and wife Betty, Nancy CLIFTON and husband Arnie, all of Kitchener; daughter-in-law Janet GOWDY, London; 40 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Loving husband and best friend of Eva (GREGORY) HUTTON for over 61 years. Dear father of Barry and wife Wendy of Seaforth and Ron of London. Proud Grampa to Aime of Calgary, Aren and her fiancee Daryl JENSON of Saint Marys, Kyle of Toronto and Brett of London. son of the late Joseph HUTTON and the former Jenny MAINPRIZE of Uniondale.
