She had a successful marketing career in the fashion industry
and was an active volunteer with several charitable organizations.

all of Nova Scotia, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren,
as well as brothers Steve and Vern. He served in the Royal Canadian
Engineers from 1943 until 1946 and was then employed by Photographic
Survey in Toronto. He transferred to their Montreal office in
1951 and moved his family to found Atlantic Air Survey in Dartmouth,
Nova Scotia in 1959, which he sold to Lockwood Survey Corp. in
1970 and continued to work as President and General Manager.
From 1979 until 1985 he was Vice President, Marketing for Northway
Survey Corp., which became Northway-Gestalt; the company was
sold to Spar Aerospace in 1980, which required extensive travel
around the world over the next few years. He lived a number of
years in British Columbia doing consulting work, before returning
to spend his remaining years in Toronto. He was a member of Canadian
Institute of Surveying, President of Canadian Institute of Surveying
in 1980, member of American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote
Sensing, and Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Dartmouth,
Nova Scotia. Cremation has already taken place and a private
family service will be held at a later date. The family would
like to express its heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Leaside
Retirement Residence for the kindness, consideration and patience
that we have experienced throughout the time that our father
was living there. It helped a great deal when we were living
so far away to know that he was treated with dignity and respect.

The University of Western Ontario in 1940. After marrying Homer
on her 21st birthday she worked as a war time censor in Ottawa,
lived in Chatham, Ontario until moving west to Edmonton in 1951
where she began her career as a high school teacher. Later her
family returned to Ontario in 1961 where Frances became the head
of Languages department at Aldershot High School in Burlington.
In 1985, Frances retired to Grand Bend, Ontario to devote herself
to her Friends, family and community. Frances will be remembered
for her positive outlook, worldly travels, golf, bridge and love
of life but mostly for her inspiration and concern for others.
She will be dearly missed. Cremation. The family would like to

Passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at his home after many valiant
struggles with cancer at the age of 86. Predeceased by his beloved
wife Catherine. Survived by his devoted brother Wilfred (Toots)

Michaael was a World War 2 Veteran
who served in Holland. He retired in 1987 as Assistant Director
of Education for the Metro Separate School Board. He had a lifelong
passion for education. He spent his retirement years volunteering
for Canadian Blood Services and was an active member of Blessed
Trinity Parish. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from
5-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at
Goulding, south of Steeles). Visiting also on Thursday, June 19,
2008 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater. A Funeral
Mass will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11: 30 a.m. at Sacred
Heart Roman Catholic Church in Teeswater. Interment to follow
at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made in Michael's memory to the Freeman Centre for Palliative

(Dick) passed away at age 94 on Sunday,
June 29, 2008, at Sunnybrook Veterans Care Centre.
son of Richard
Arthur and Katherine Cullen
DALY. He attended Upper Canada College
and University of Toronto, University College and belonged to
Theta Delta Chi fraternity. During World War 2, Dick volunteered
and served as an officer overseas with the Kangaroos Armored
Personnel Carriers. After the war, he returned to Canada with
the love of his life, his French bride, Genvieve
HUBERT.
Dick
and Genvieve were married 62 years. After their marriage, he
joined R.A. Daly and Company as a stockbroker, executive, and later
served as president. Dick was an active member of the Timothy
Eaton Memorial Church, the Toronto Golf Club, the Granite Club,
the National Club, the Arts and Letters Club, the Ticker Club,
and the Ahmic Lake Golf Club. Dick spent summers with his family
at Ahmic Lake (Magnetawan), and enjoyed many winter vacations
in Florida at the Hillsboro Club and later Boca Grande. Dick
will be lovingly remembered by his wife Genevieve, his brother
Tom, and his sister Katherine
