It is with deep sadness that our family announces the peaceful
passing of Keith
CRAIG on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 in Elliot
Lake of a sudden heart attack and stroke. Beloved husband of
Joan CRAIG
(COLEMAN,) father to Bill of Toronto, Carol (Randall)
FLETCHER of Prince Edward Island, Ted of Edmonton, Sue (Neil)
McCOOEYE of Montreal. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren

service was held. Keith lived his life to full measure. Born
in North Gower, Ontario; navigator in the Royal Canadian Air
Force European Bomber Command ('43-45); Humberside Collegiate
and U. of Toronto Engineering graduate; Margison and Babcock; R.M.
Way and Co; partner in Ball, Craig and Short; M.Ed. at Ontario Institute
for Studies in Education in 1972; teacher/principal at Oakville
Trafalgar, Georgetown District and M.M. Robinson High Schools.
From the mid 70's until his retirement in 1990, Dad was the Superintendent
of Instruction for the North Shore Board of Education in Elliot
Lake. Keith was a winemaker extraordinaire, raconteur, wind sailor
who navigated the Great Lakes from his beloved North Shore Yacht
Club where he was commodore and sailed across the Atlantic in
1988, hand builder of sailboats, traveller of the globe with
his beloved Joan, creator of grand oil paintings to adorn his
and others' walls, and an enthusiastic cross country skier. Keith
shared all with family and Friends generously. All are welcome
to a memorial service at the Unitarian Congregation of South
Peel at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 13th, 2007 at 84 South Service
Road, Mississauga (south of Queen Elizabeth Way and east of Hurontario
Street (Hwy. 10). This is the Congregation that Keith helped
found and designed the building. He requested that the occasion
be enjoyable and for no one to wear black. Refreshments will
be served. Come celebrate with us a great life beautifully lived.

Left us quietly and gracefully, Marion was predeceased by her
husband George, in 1993. She is survived by her children, Kathleen
HERMISTON and her husband Ray, Monica
McCOOK,
Jim
SULLIVAN and
his spouse Sue
PETRIK, and Jean
LANE.
She will be greatly missed
by her grandchildren Sandy and Andrew

LANE, their spouses and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her nephew, John
JAMIESON and her niece,
Anne MILLER.
Marion was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and graduated from the
University of Alberta in 1927 with a degree in math and chemistry.
She later completed her M.Sc. in chemistry at the University
of Washington. Marion taught secondary school mathematics for
many years in Sudbury, Ontario and Guelph, Ontario. She was a
long term active member of the University Women's Club, the Imperial
Order of the Daughters of the Empire and St. George's Church.
She was a devoted bridge player with several groups. She kept
current with the Globe crossword puzzle and enjoyed following
the stock market on her computer. Her love of the north was exemplified
by her annual trips for over 60 years to the family camp on Lake
Ramsay in Sudbury.
In keeping with her wishes, we will celebrate her 100th birthday
with an Open House at the Guelph Country Club on Thursday, August
30th at 2 p.m. Her many Friends are invited to join the family
in our celebration of her life. Cremation has taken place and
a private family service is planned. Donations to the charity
of your choice would be appreciated by Marion (cards available

Maureen completed
her undergraduate studies at Saint Michael's College and received
her MBA from University of Toronto, School of Business in
1970. Maureen has practiced as Tax Partner at Deloitte and Touche
for over 25 years. Maureen fought a valiant 2 year battle with
Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral
Home, 6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding south of Steeles, North
York on Tuesday, November 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass
will be held at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 670 Sheppard
Avenue East, east of Bayview, North York on Wednesday, November 7th
at 10 a.m. A special visitation to be held at the Murphy Funeral
Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, Ontario on Thursday, November 8th
from 10 a.m. until 11: 30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Columba's
Cemetery. Thanks for the care and support by the many doctors,
nurses and staff at Sunnybrook Hospital. Donations to the Sunnybrook
