on November 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Leslie and Audra
(McEWAN)
WILSON.
She▼ was a charter member of the Imperial Order
of the Daughters of the Empire (Kenneth Lucas Chapter) and was
very active during her lifetime, a member of the Saint_John's Ambulance
and had received the Order of Saint_John, a Past President of the
Saint Thomas Curling Club, a member of the Saint Thomas Golf and
Country Club, a former member of the Port Stanley Yacht Club,
a volunteer with the March of Dimes and Meals on Wheels. Resting
at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas, where
funeral service will be held Saturday at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation
to follow. Remembrances may be made to the Elgin Military Museum
or the Saint Thomas Public Art Gallery. Visitation Friday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

(Bill) passed away peacefully at the age
of 82 on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at the Hill House Hospice in
Richmond Hill. Bill will be dearly missed by his wife Maria

Bill was born in Oshawa, the
son of Albert Lauder
and Jean (MacEWEN)
MOORE. He served his country in the Royal
Canadian Air Force from 1943 to 1946. Upon leaving the service
he enrolled in Queen's University and graduated with a Bachelor's
degree in Commerce in 1951. Bill soon took a sales position with
International Business Machines Corporation Canada and was appointed
President in 1969. After leaving International Business Machines
Corporation in 1972, he pursued other business ventures in information
technology. Larger than life, Bill was a charming, outgoing,
funny, optimistic and encouraging man. Every cloud he saw had
a silver lining and he was quick to support his Friends and family.
Extremely intelligent and a brilliant card player, he attained
the status of Life Master in contract bridge. He was an avid
golfer and downhill skier and continued pursuing both sports
long after most people hang up their gear. Bill kept his sense
of humour, charm and gratitude throughout his illnesses. There
will be a visitation on Saturday July 21st from 4: 00 p.m. until
7: 00 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine Street, Collingwood,
Ontario. A church service will be held at Emmanuel Presbyterian
Church in Clearview Township on Sunday July 22nd at 2: 00 p.m.
and a reception will follow immediately at the Blue Mountain
Golf and Country Club in Collingwood. In his final days, Bill
received compassionate and loving care at the Hill House Hospice
in Richmond Hill. The family requests that contributions be made
in Bill's memory to Hill House Hospice, 36 Wright Street, Richmond

Born October 30, 1919, died peacefully with her daughter at her
side on November 22, 2007, at South Granville Lodge in Vancouver.
She was predeceased by her husband J. Peter

She will
be lovingly remembered by her daughter Martha, granddaughter
Tracey and grand_son Christopher, also by son Bruce and family.
Doe spent her early childhood in Sault Ste. Marie, attended B.S.S.
in Toronto and then University of Toronto where she met and married
Peter. They lived in Halifax during the war, then back to Ontario
where Peter's job took them all over the province. She has lived
in Vancouver since the 70's where she enjoyed many of the west
coast activities and her clubs. She will be remembered for her
outgoing personality and her love of life and will be missed
by a great many Friends and relatives. Service will be held at
Saint Mary's in Kerrisdale in Vancouver at 11 a.m. on November 27th.

in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and grew up in Brandon and Winnipeg,
Manitoba. He graduated from Queen's University in 1938 and started
his career with the Manufacturer's Life Insurance Company. John
retired from Manulife in 1979 as a Financial Vice President.
He enjoyed his summers at the cottage on Lake of Bays and was
an Honourary Member of Don Mills Kiwanis-Golden K. John served
as an Artillery Officer with the Royal Canadian Army in World
War 2 and saw action in the European Theatre. The family wish
to thank the staff of K1C for the loving care, respect and support
they provided Dad for the many years he lived in K Wing. Also
a very special heartfelt thanks to Irene Willmott for her companionship
to Dad and her endearing sense of humour. The family will receive

Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. Thursday,
