A passionate sailor, beloved educator and respected writer passed
away on Saturday, July 14, 2007, after a prolonged illness. She
will be sadly missed by the international sailing community and
her family in Toronto, Canada and
in Krakow, Poland - her son

with her beloved niece, Bernice

Hania will
be missed by niece Bernice (and husband Warren), her nephew Walter
DARMAGA and wife
Deanna) and her great-nephew Rodney
DARMAGA
( and wife Carrie and their daughter Sierra). Born in Canada,
Hania lived her entire life in downtown Toronto and close to
the Polish community. Hania's kind heartedness and positive Polish
spirit made her a never ending source of enjoyment at family
and other social gatherings. Friends may call at the Turner and
Porter Funeral Home, 436 Roncesvalles Ave. (at Howard Park) on
Sunday from 2-5 p.m. with prayers at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass to be
held at St. Stanislaus Church, 12 Denison Ave., on Monday, June 11,
2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. In Hania's memory,
donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
