(Ron,) as well as his many nieces and
nephews. Cliff never wanted his many activities brought forward
but those who knew him were well aware of all he contributed
to so many organizations over his lifetime. One of the hardest
things for our family has been to agree to his wishes when we
are all so proud of his many accomplishments. However, we know
what they were, and we know the man he was. A wonderful husband,
father, and grandfather and a true friend to many. He always
said, 'this is what people should aspire to!'. Special thanks
to Claire who organized our palliative care team of Doctor Hurdon,
R.N's Cathy, and Tasma and support care workers Kathaleen and
Dorinda to help Cliff and our family through this journey. Also,
our thanks to Doctor Grace Wu and the staff of the Ambulatory Care
Unit of the Q.C. Hospital. In particular, Erica and R.N's Florrie,
Shirley and Mary. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel
of Hulse, Playfair, and McGarry, Ottawa, (613 728-1761) on Sunday
August 12th from 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will
be held on Monday at 11: 30 a.m. followed by refreshments. No
flowers please! Those wishing to are asked to send memorial donations
