TANNER, Lillian (née FOERSTER)
Lillian TANNER, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover Care Centre, on Monday, October 29, 2007. She was 92. Lillian was born in Normanby Township, daughter of the late Norman and Margaret (nee BENDER) FOERSTER. Survived by daughters Margaret (James) ELDER of Kitchener, Susan (Vincent) WEBER of Hanover, grandchildren Jeremy (Martha) WEBER of Guelph, Katherine WEBER (Rob RYAN) of Mississauga, great-granddaughter Mia WEBER, brothers Milton (Marie) FOERSTER of Hanover, Paul (Barb) FOERSTER of Ayton, brothers-in-law Fred SEIM of Hanover, Francis TONE of Hanover, sisters-in-law Doris FOERSTER of Neustadt and Isabelle (TANNER) KIRSTINE of Hanover.
Predeceased by husband George TANNER, sisters Mabel SEIM and Gertrude TONE and brother Carl FOERSTER.
Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service was held Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 1: 30 p.m. at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. John POLACK officiated. Interment in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Bible Society or the Arthritis Society were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

DAGNINO, Nicoló
Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2007, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace Coyoli de DAGNINO. Dear father of Aldo DAGNINO and his wife Carla and Lina DAGNINO and her husband Tony D'SOUZA. Loving Nonno to Angelica. Dear brother of Sergio and his wife Mariú. Predeceased by his brother Aldo and his wife Maria. Dear brother-in-law of Guillermina COYOLI. Nicoló served during the Second World War in the Italian army. He was a member of the French Foreign Legion and rose to the rank of Sergent-Chef, the highest rank that can be achieved by a non-French citizen. Nicoló received 3 medals of commendation for bravery in action during tours in Indochina and North Africa. A special thank you to Doctor Brian TAILOR/TAYLOR, Doctor Michael TONG, and the nurses of the 8th Floor Surgical Unit at University Hospital. A private family Mass will be celebrated in North Carolina. Cremation. Memorial contributions to the London Health Sciences Foundation, 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario N6C 2R6 would be gratefully acknowledged. (James A. Harris Funeral Home)

Evelyn Maud TONGE of Whitefish Falls, formerly of Brill, England, passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in her 72nd year.
Beloved wife of Morgan TONGE of Whitefish Falls. Dear mother of Julian TONGE (wife Nicola) of Little Current. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Joanna and Elizabeth. Very dear sister of Peggy HERBERT of South Wales. Evelyn was a member of the Espanola Golf Club. A Memorial Service was held at the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. with the Reverend Cory VERMEER- CUTHBERT of the United Church of Espanola officiating. If so desired, Memorial tributes may be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.
