Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 8th surrounded
by his devoted family, in his 84th year. He is survived by his
faithful wife

Jim, 'the "Gup" to Tania, Quinn (Harry), Katie (Gary), Julia
(Mark), Harley, Todd, Daniel, Adam, Hannah, Douglas, Jeremy and
Joshua. Great-grandfather to Ava, Liam, Gabriel, Eric and Ashlene.
Friends may call on Monday, August 13th, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m.
at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding,
south of Steeles). A celebration of Jim's life will be held on
Wednesday, August 15th at 11 a.m. at St. George's Anglican Church
(77 Randall Drive in Pickering Village, Ajax). The family asks

Ottawa, Ontario. Born 25 February 1916, Winnipeg, Manitoba to

(Kingston, Ontario). Marg joins her dear, late husband, Roderick
Watson MacLEAN (1979,) and two precious children, Duncan and
Katherine (1945). Beloved mother of Brian Roderick of Ottawa
(Debbie GIBSON) and Margaret Joan (Arnold
DAGENAIS) of Vancouver,
and loving Gramma Marg to Duncan and Brilee. She was predeceased
by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert A. and Elinore

Beach). Marg delighted in her family as mother, grandmother,
mother-in-law, step-grandmother, great step-grandmother, aunt
and great aunt, and was a wonderful friend to all who knew her.
She will be remembered with much love. A member of 'the Chestnut
Street gang' with Edna Houston and the late Allie Williams, Marg
was educated at Kelvin High School in Winnipeg and the University
of Manitoba before moving to Ottawa and Queen's University (B.A.,
1937). She and her dear friend, Isobel Muir, met at Queen's.
At Carleton University Marg was Secretary to the Graduate School.
An avid 'B' golfer, Marg was a long-time member of the Ottawa
Hunt and Golf Club, a past captain of the women golfers at the
Hunt Club, played regularly with the business women and curled
when the snow came. She loved bridge and played regularly till
just before her death. A love of travel took her from Russia
to New Zealand with family visits to Mexico and to cousin, Ibby
BELL, in Northern Ireland. She was an active member of Glebe
Saint_James United Church. For years she was a community volunteer.
For the last several years Marg was part of the community at
The Palisades Ottawa where she had many long-time and new Friends
who were wonderful company. The Glebe had been her neighbourhood
since coming to Ottawa, even while living in Alta Vista. Thank
you all for your Friendships. Family and Friends are invited
to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry,
315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 from 2-4 p.m.
and 7-9 p.m. Marg's Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel
on Thursday, 2 August 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Marg's memory to the Children's Hospital
of Eastern Ontario. Thanks to the staff at The Palisades-Ottawa,

Peacefully passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living in Windsor,
Ontario on November 16, 2007 at the age of 101. Predeceased by
his first wife

(TILLICH) and son Ralph. Survived by his

Madeleine
(GOURDON) of Joyeuse, France, son Dan and
wife Rita, daughter-in-law Irene, grandchildren Kim, Ann, Ted,
Irene and Kevin. Great-grandchildren Grace, Ryan, Kristopher,
Katherine, Rebecca, Amy and Cole. He lived a full and active
life travelling in Europe, Middle East and North America and
was a successful banker and businessman. He was a longtime member
of the Montreal Board of Trade and St. Luke's United Church.
Friends and family may pay their respects at the Windsor Chapel
Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Road East, on Saturday, November 24,
2007 from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Cremation
to follow with interment at Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing
of Kathleen Marie
GOSS (née
McCARTHY) on December 29, 2006, at
the age of 51 years. She was recently battling breast cancer
complications, which resulted in cardiac arrest. Kathleen is
survived by her loving husband, Rob, and her two beautiful daughters,
Nicole and Lindsay. She is also remembered by her brothers, Peter,
Brian, and Daniel

Kathleen was born to Owen
and Virginia
McCARTHY in Toronto, Ontario, on June 6, 1955. She
was an active volunteer in the church, including the youth advisory
council, Eucharistic ministry, pastoral care, sacramental preparation,
and Sunday school. In addition, she volunteered at her daughters'
schools within class, on hot lunch committees, on the community
of caring committee, as secretary within the music society, and
as secretary on the parent's council. Within the community she
was a blood donor, and gave generously to many charities. In
July of 2006 Kathleen landed her dream job, as student advisor
within Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. She
will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Relatives and

Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Wednesday, January 3,
2007 at 7: 00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Ascension

in antique cars and his Studebaker. In his younger days, Gary
worked on the Van Dolder snowmobile team, and was a loyal worker
at Van Wycks for many years. Friends are invited to the Tannahill
Funeral Home for visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate Garys life will be held in the
chapel on Wednesday, August 22, at 11 o'clock with Pastor Brian
