On Sunday, September 30, 2007 at North York General Hospital. Harvey BORLAK, beloved husband, best friend, and partner of Marilyn for 59 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Gail and Asher DRORY, Judy and Buzz SANDLER, and Steve and Marie BORLAK. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Moishe and the late Lil BORLACK, and Goldie and Irving STEINBERG. Dear brother-in-law of Anne and the late Morris TENENBAUM, Doctor Bernard and Edith KRAKAUER, and the late Louis and Ruth CROCKER, Doctor Charles KRAKAUER, and Helen and Syd STARKMAN. Devoted grandfather of Ben, Judith, Rebecca, Karen and Adam, Michelle, Jesse, Matt, and Sara. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to caregivers Liza, and Beth. TENNANT, James Raliegh
James Raliegh TENNANT passed away June 11, 2007 at 11: 44 p.m. in the Vancouver Hospital at 22 years of age. He was the son of Ronald and Bambi TENNANT of Courtney, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. He fought a courageous battle against cancer for 3½ years, with brain tumours which eventually caused his death. He is survived by his sister Ashley TENNANT. He was the grand_son of Ted TENNANT of R.R.#4 Flesherton. He also has a grandmother, Dawn MOTT, in Australia. He was predeceased by grandmother Grace TENNANT and Mr. MOTT. Cremation has already taken place.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Monday morning July 16, 2007. In her 70th year, Wilda “Red” LANG (née WAITE,) loving wife of William D. LANG. Loved daughter of Cym (Mrs. Gordon WAITE.) Loving mother of Gord and his wife Judy. Loved grandmother of Garrett. Dear sister of Joy (Mrs. John TAILOR/TAYLOR) and Helen (Mrs. Hap SMITH.) Dear sister-in-law of Betty (Mrs. Carl COOK,) Sharon (Mrs. Bob MORRIS,) Peggy TENNANT and Pat (Mrs. Jim KELLAR.) Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Grace Mable TENNANT of Aylmer. She was 69 years old. Beloved wife of the late John (Elson) TENNANT. Loving sister to Ronald SMITH and wife Connie and Gary SMITH and wife Sharon. Forever loved by her children; Thomas TENNANT of London, Mildred DAVIS and husband John of Aylmer, Penny MATLACK and husband Steve of Aylmer, Fred TENNANT and wife Maria of London, Darlene PETTIT and friend Steve CHAUVIN of Aylmer. Legacy continued by her 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Born in Lions head on June 9, 1937 daughter of the late Clarence and Isabel (BURLEY) SMITH. POULIN, Jean-Luc Alcide
With great sadness we announce the death of Jean-Luc POULIN on Saturday, July 28th, 2007, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his wife and children, at the age of 67. Jean-Luc died of complications attendant upon the treatment necessary in the very unequal struggle against a brain tumour lymphona.
Jean-Luc was a devoted husband to Linda (Lye) and loving father of Jean-Louis (Aida) and Danielle (Randy). Grandpa to Christian and Matthew TENNANT and Nicolas and Sebastien POULIN. Predeceased by his parents Lucienne TOURANGEAU (1993) and Jean-Louis POULIN (1942) and his stepfather Roland CÔTÉ (2007:) older brother and mentor of Gerard POULIN (Lorraine) Claire BOURGEOIS (deceased) (Rheo,) Jean-Noel CÔTÉ (Jeanne,) Solange (Sally) ROY (Paul,) Real CÔTÉ (Marj), Louis COTE, Louise LEBEL (Tom), Michel COTE and Micheline BRASSEUR (Reg.) Favourite uncle of at last count 52 nieces and nephews.
A teacher of French par excellence at O'Neill Collegiate, Dunbarton H.S., Eastdale Collegiate and Lahr Secondary in Lahr, Germany, Jean-Luc was also French Co-ordinator for the Durham Board for four years. In his ten-year retirement he indulged his love of fishing and the outdoors, spending many happy hours catching pickerel on Lake Scugog.

Family and Friends will be received at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234), for visitation on Tuesday, July 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 1st at 3: 00 p.m. Cremation.

KELMAN, Mildred (1911-2007)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mildred KELMAN at her home on Thursday September 6, 2007 after a very long and difficult journey, one that she accomplished with great fortitude and determination. She is the most Beloved wife of the late Kenneth KELMAN, and very loved mother of Eleanor LONDON (Lou) and Rikki MEGGESON (John.) She is remembered with great love by her special grandchildren Lisa (Len), Lynne, Lorne (Susan), Sean, and Steven (Mary). She was blessed with 10 great-grandchildren: Laura, Spencer, Alyssa, Clayton, Dylan, Ryan, Cole, Sidney, Simon, and Shelley. She leaves her sister Florence SMITH, her sister-in-law Beatrice TENNEY and her brother-in-law Harry KELMAN. She was predeceased by her sister Belle WAX and her brother Irving TENNEY. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. At this time we want to express our thanks to her very special and beloved caregiver Dolly EDWARDS, who provided her with all the love, tenderness and skilled care that one could ever imagine. There are many special people who have helped us along the way and we would like to mention her very special nurse, Natalia CHIKHUII and wonderful caregiver Narcia YAPE.
