has taken place. A Celebration of Murray's life will be held
at the Vineland Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King
St. on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 10: 30 a.m. A reception will
follow in the Tallman Fireside Room. If desired, memorial donations
may be made to the charity of your choice.

MEEHAN.
Michael was the Senior Partner of Meehan,
Maranger, Horeck and Pharand with branches in Sudbury, Espanola
and Manitoulin Island, he served as the Federal Prosecutor for
the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin. He served on City Council,
with distinction. Michael was appointed, the youngest ever at
the time, to the Federal Bench, in 1973. As a Judge he was active
in many Ontario Districts, including a tenure as Regional Senior
Justice of Lambton County. He completed his time as a Justice
in his home town of Sudbury, as the longest serving Justice in
Ontario. He was a member of the Canada Pension Appeals Board.
An avid sailor and outdoorsman, he was very proud of his Irish
heritage. Michael was widely travelled, but most happy at his
cottage on Birch Lake. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral
Home, 233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, Wednesday,
October 31st, 2007 at 10 a.m. Prayers 8 p.m. Tuesday. Donations
to the Cancer Center or Sudbury Arts Council would be appreciated.
(Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday).
