ALLEVATO, Giuseppe " Joe"
Peacefully surrounded by his family at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Sunday, December 31, 2006 Giuseppe (Joe) ALLEVATO in his 91st year. Loving husband of 54 years of Luigina (Gina) (née SISCA) ALLEVATO. Proud father of Eugene (Jim) ALLEVATO and his wife Sandra of Burlington, Maria (Luisa) ALLEVATO and her husband Dave of Toronto, and Susanna (Susy) GIRARDIN and her husband Larry of London. Cherished nonno of Aleyea, Joseph, Larah, Patrice, Alexander and Aubree and great nonno of Taliah. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Marietta ALLEVATO, his brothers Salvatore (Sam), Antonio (Tony) and Eugenio (Jimmy) and their spouses and his sisters Teresina and Adelina and their spouses. As an uncle he will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Thank you to the nurses and staff at University Hospital 6th floor and Father Greg BLONDE. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, Saint Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Saint Peter's Restoration Fund would be appreciated.

On Saturday September 15, in his 60th year. Sadly missed by beloved wife Carol SISCO, loving daughter Christine RYAN (Warren DAVIS) and son Paul SISCO (Bryden). Special Gramps to James Thomas RYAN- DAVIS. Lovingly remembered by sister Susan BOND (Dave,) nephews Mike and Chris BOND, his extended family and his many Friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham 905-305-8508). Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 20 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation for the new Regional Cancer Center Fund. The family of Helen Christina SAYERS sadly announce her peaceful passing on the morning of December 17, 2007 at Georgian Heights in her 86th year. Helen was the mother of Glenda FRAZER, grandmother of George FRAZER and his wife Julie, Pam SISSON and her husband Ron and great-grandmother to David SISSON and Michelle and Bryan FRAZER. Predeceased by her husband George Glendon SAYERS and son-in-law George Alexander FRAZER. Helen was a strong spirit in this life and will be in the next. A private family service will be held. DRAYTON, Thomas Leon
Poet, author, sculptor, clergy - Passed away peacefully in hospital after a sudden illness, surrounded by his family October 24, 2007. Adored son of Honey Bonner DRAYTON, loyal brother to Leona, Alton and the late Laura DRAYTON. Beloved father of daughters Shelley (El HYNDMAN) and J'bai (Roland DESCHAMPS) and son Tao (Andresa SISSON.) Sharing in their sorrow, their mothers Kathryn DRAYTON and Anne DEACON. Loving Granddad of Sebastien, Tessa, Scoller, Marshall and newborn grand_son. Raised in California, Thomas' travels led him to settle in the Toronto area in 1971 where he became well known for his fine vintage clothing stores, most recently Cabaret on Queen St. W. He will be remembered for his megawatt smile and spontaneous generosity, uplifting hearts of Friends and strangers alike when they least expected it. Sincere thanks to staff of Princess Margaret Hospital and Mt. Sinai. The family invites all to join in a Celebration Of Thomas' Life on Sunday November 11 at 2: 00 p.m. at The Great Hall, 1087 Queen St. W. Toronto. Lovingly remembered by her daughters and stepson and their families, Sherry (John STEWARD/STEWART/STUART,) Lisa, Alex (Kim) and great-grand_son James, Carol (David SEABORN) Cassie, Charles and Eliza, Judy (Jean Philippe MURILLO) Chistopher (Jessica), Katherine and Alex, Norman BEATTY (Lynda), Alan (Lindsay) and Jonathan and her many nieces and nephews. At the William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, on Saturday, December 1st, 2007, Elsie SISTERMANS (née MILLAR) of Brampton, formerly of Southampton. Wife of the late John SISTERMANS. Loving mother of Maureen MOTT and her partner Wayne RUDGE of Brampton, and Neil STEVENS and his wife Diana of Newmarket. She is survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son-in-law Bob MOTT and two sisters. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) on Thursday, December 6th, from 11.00 to 1.00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel on Thursday at 1: 00 p.m. with the Rev.
