on Saturday October 27th at 2: 00 p.m.; a reception will follow.

in Canada and Ireland. Bob was born in Regina, Saskatchewan,
was raised in many parts of Canada, finally residing in Oakville,
Ontario. Starting from childhood, Bob was an avid bridge player,
winning numerous competitions throughout Canada and the United
States, even while studying Engineering at the University of
Toronto. His career was spent in Toronto in the Insurance Industry
until he retired. Cremation has occurred. A funeral service will
take place on Thursday, October 4th at the Trull Funeral Home
- 2704 Yonge Street (south of Lawrence Avenue) at 11 a.m. and
interment will follow immediately at the Mount Hope Cemetery
- 305 Erskine Avenue. In lieu of flowers contributions to the
Canadian Wild Life Foundation would be appreciated. "My dearest
Bob, until we meet again. Rest in Peace."

Passed away peacefully, at the Toronto General Hospital, in her
86th year. Lillian was one of the three beautiful daughters of
the late James and Mary
VALACHOS, well-respected owners of the
original Olympia Candy Store and Restaurant in Brantford, Ontario.
She is also predeceased by her brothers George, Peter, William
VALACHOS, sister Kathleen
HAWKEN and husbands Gordon
RODA and
Stanley LANDELL.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Evelyn
COULOS, all her loving nieces and nephews, extended family and
special Friends. Lillian's long career spanned several decades
with Seagram's Distillers in Toronto and throughout her life
she continued an active role in the modeling profession. Lillian
lived her life with grace, dignity, elegance, unconditional love
and a contagious zest for life and laughter, qualities we will
carry proudly with us and forever make us smile. We extend our
heartfelt thanks to Doctor
SCULLY, the excellent staff at Toronto
General Hospital and the caring nurses in Cardiovascular Intensive
Care Unit. A celebration of Lillian's life will be held at the
Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue
(south of Eglinton Avenue East), at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16th,
with a reception to follow in the Leaside Room. If desired, donations
to the Salvation Army or the Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.

Tom died at home in Ottawa on 04 September, 2007 after a brief
illness. He was 56 years old. He is survived by his partner of
25 years, James Patrick
ROCHE. He is also survived by his sister,
Eileen GALLAGHER and his parents, Gina and Robert
GALLAGHER,
of Vancouver, and by a family of long-time close Friends, particularly
Barry Deeprose, Claude Dufresne and John McElhone. Special thanks

87, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2007, with family
members at his side. Born and raised in Yarmouth, he was a son
of the late George
KILLAM and Mabel
(WINDSOR)
KILLAM, and the
brother of Katy Lou (Don)
McLAUCHLAN,
Alberta; and Windsor
KILLAM
(deceased in childhood). After graduating from Mount Allison
and McGill Universities, he taught mechanical engineering at
McGill until 1949, when he returned to Yarmouth to join the family
firm, Killam Bros. He ran Killam Bros. until 1991, when he retired
both himself and the firm! A passionate volunteer, he served
on various boards in the Wesley and Beacon United Church for
over 50 years, was the secretary-treasurer of the Old Ladies
Home Society for 30 years, and was President of the Windsor Foundation
for over 40 years. He loved the town of Yarmouth and served his
community as councillor, engineer and mayor; as a director of
the Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery; as a member of the town planning
board and as a long-time director of the Grand Hotel. His other
varied interests included his dear Lake Annis, golf with the
boys, curling, and inventing gadgets to solve the insolvable
household problems. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years,

McCULLAGH)
his devoted grandchildren Stephen and Jennifer and by many nieces
and nephews. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral
services will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 3: 00 p.m. in
his beloved Beacon United Church in Yarmouth, with Rev. Leslie
Robinson and Rev. Ray Francis officiating. A private family burial
will take place at a later date in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
Friends are welcome to join family members to celebrate Bob's
life (and remember his jokes) at a reception immediately following
the service. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes
Association or a charity of your choice. Email condolences may
