SATCHELLE, Annie (STRONG)
At Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Thursday September 27, 2007. The former Annie STRONG of Thornbury, in her 89th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dennis Martin Harold “Dave&rdquo SATCHELLE in 1990. Dear mother of Barry and his wife Margaret of Lively, Clive and his wife Joan of Annan and Peter (Lynda CARROLL) of Clarksburg. Loving grandmother of Brooke SATCHELLE and fondly remembered by Sharon SATCHELLE, Sabrina GREGSON, Noah GREGSON and Elysia CARR. Family will receive Friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, The Valley Chapel, Thornbury on Sunday September 30 from 1 until 3 p.m. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Dr. Brian GOODINGS, will be conducted at Grace United Church in Thornbury on Monday October 1 at 11 a.m. with committal and interment to follow at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

FLEISCHER, Jules
Jules FLEISCHER died November 23, 2006 in Park City, Utah with his wife and best friend, Syau-fu, at his side. Jules had a zest for life, which can only be viewed as inspirational. With his insatiable thirst for knowledge and life experiences, he lived life to the fullest, always either on or planning for some adventure. He is to be remembered for his positive attitude, indomitable spirit, wonderful sense of humor, his love of nature, and his sense of honor and fair play. Jules was a respected lawyer in Toronto, as a founding partner of the law firm Fleischer and Kochberg, before embarking on a successful business career. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Syau-fu MA, his parents Fanny and Jack FLEISCHER, his sister Sandy SATIN and her family, as well as numerous other family members and Friends who loved him. Donations made to Vital Ground at vitalground.org or Magen David Adom at cmdai.org would honor Jules immensely.

Died peacefully after a courageous fight against lung cancer, on December 29th, 2006 at her home in Toronto, Ontario in her 67th year. Cherished mother of Kathryn, Dan and Sandra. Mother-in-law of Jennifer MacKECHNIE and Ettienne DU PREEZ. Dear sister of Jim KEFFER and sister, best friend and soul mate of Louise FERRIMAN. Dedicated, loving and world champion grandmother to Daniel and Mary MUTER, Liam, Peter and Declan DU PREEZ and Katie and Caroline MacKECHNIE. Sister-in-law of Jack FERRIMAN, Anne KEFFER and Mary WILSON. Aunt to Kathleen, Mary Jane, Nancy, David, John, Carla and Ben. Life-long friend of Nancy LACKNER; incredible and beloved friend of so many more who shared her life from her days at Victoria College, summers at Belmont Lake, through a proud professional career in accounting and consulting. With fondest thoughts to Adam, Faye and Marie, the Ellicottville Gals, the Hermosa Beach poker crowd, Doctor Peter SATOK, Doctor Ronald BURKES, the 11th Floor oncology unit at Mount Sinai. A non-smoker for more than 30 years, Janet's dying wish is for more attention to be paid to this terrible disease which claims so many lives. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 3rd at 1: 00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2737 Bayview Avenue, Toronto (just south of 401). Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Lung Cancer Research).
