Melvina BROWN passed away on September 29, 2007. She was born
February 1921 to Ed and Verla
TALBOT and had four brothers and
one sister, Mervin, Maurice, Delbert, Robert and Margerie.
In 1943 Melvina married Clifford
RIDDELL and resided on a farm
outside of Hopeville. There she and Clifford farmed and raised
four children, Carolyn, Lorne, Barbara and Gwen. She worked hard
on the farm and loved her flower gardens. She was involved in
the Proton Community with Federation of Agriculture, Women's
Institute and the Bethany Chapel Church in Hopeville.
Clifford passed away April of 1975 and Melvina continued to farm
with her son Lorne.
She met J.A.
BROWN and married in 1978 and moved to Durham. She
became involved with the senior citizen's playing cards, and
shuffleboard at Rockwood Terrace. J.A. passed away in 1995. Melvina
continued to live in Durham and joined another group the Silver
Threads Choir.
She loved life and enjoyed time with family and Friends. She
adored her 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Melvina
met a special friend Tys. We are grateful for your Friendship
and companionship to mom. We know you will also miss her very
much.

Passed away peacefully, at Saint Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener,
on Friday, December 29, 2006, at the age of 87 years. Andrew
was a graduate of Upper Canada College and the University of
Toronto and was an anaesthetist for just under 40 years. He was
a charter founding member of the Kitchener Waterloo Power and
Sails Squadron and a member of the Kitchener Waterloo Amateur
Radio Club. Doctor Andrew was also a member of the Honey Harbor
Boat Club, the Madawaska Club, and St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church in Kitchener. He very much enjoyed his summers sailing
in Georgian Bay. Doctor Andrew is survived by his beloved wife of
60 years Mary, his sons, Bill

With courage and dignity, passed away after a brave battle with
cancer on October 13, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Born April 8,
1937 in Exeter, Huron County, Ontario, Don is predeceased by
his parents Luella and Ross, and by his brothers, Orland and
Douglas TAILOR/TAYLOR. He is lovingly remembered by Judie (née

his wife of 42 years, by his daughter Suzie

Euan of Vancouver, by his son Steven of Toronto and by his brother

Friends. Fondly remembered by the members of the Fairwinds community
in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, where Don retired after a distinguished
career at International Business Machines Corporation that took
him across Canada, Europe and Africa. A graduate of the University
of Western Ontario in 1962, Don was a member of Beta Theta Pi
and remained Friends with several of his fraternity brothers
through the years. The Taylor family would like to thank Doctor Baird
and all the wonderful nurses at the Nanaimo Hospital palliative
care unit. An avid golfer with an uncanny ability to bring a
smile to everyone, Don's life will be celebrated at Fairwinds
Golf Club on October 21, 2007 at noon. If Friends so desire,

Girls Choir) married the man in red (Irish Guards Band) in 1953 and
started a wonderful life in Canada that same year. While in Toronto
(1953-1969), Marion sang with the Palmer Singers and St. Clement's
Anglican Church Choir. Marion was an avid volunteer in her community
for her entire life, serving the Girl Guides of Canada, the National
Arts Centre Orchestra Association, St. Matthias Church, The Ottawa
Regional Cancer Clinic and was co-founder with her husband, Bob,
of the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour. Marion's many Friends will miss
her on the golf course, at the bridge table, at the book club
and at her dinner table where she loved to entertain. Marion's
compassion and laughter will be greatly missed by every life

team at the Ottawa Regional Cancer clinic, but especially to

Markets in the spring of 2006. Peter's passions included fishing,
hunting, golf, and summers in North Hatley, Quebec. His family
extends their sincere gratitude to the professionals at Saint Michael's
Hospital in Emergency, Step-Up (14th Floor) and Intensive Care
Unit. Their outstanding care and support was deeply appreciated.
Peter, independent by nature, embodied life to the fullest and
