RESENDES,
Antonio "
Tony"
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
beloved Tony on December 26th at 10 p.m. He was 42. Tony lost
his battle with cancer after 9 very trying months, but he fought
with determined bravery and quiet dignity. The cancer that ended
his life took many things along the way, but not his loving heart
or caring spirit. Tony gave us one more Christmas together as
a family and we are all very proud of him. He will be dearly
missed by his devoted parents Maria and Augusto, his loving sister
Helen (David), his dear brothers Gilberto (Zandra), Danny (Maricel),
and by many relatives and Friends in Toronto, London, the Açores,
Brasil, the U.S. and Europe. Thanks to the many doctors, nurses,
staff and volunteers of the University Health Network. Special
thanks to Doctor
SHEPHERD,
Doctor
CAVALCANTI, and the Palliative Care
Unit at Princess Margaret Hospital. Friends may call at Cardinal
Funeral Homes, 366 Bathurst St. (at Dundas) Saturday and Sunday
2-4 and 6-9. Funeral mass take place at St. Agnes Church, 15 Grace
St. (at Dundas) on Monday December 31st at 9 a.m. All are welcome.
Tony will drive through the neighbourhood one last time before
his entombment at Prospect Cemetery's Mausoleum of the Sacred
Souls, 1450 St. Clair. Ave West.
