WEITZENBAUER, Erna " Ann" (née WINDRICH)
(07 August 1924-12 November 2007)
With humility, dignity and great courage, Erna "Ann" WEITZENBAUER (née WINDRICH) left this life on 12 November 2007 to be with her Maker, her husband and all the Friends and family who have passed before her. Predeceased by her husband C. Peter (September 1989) and son-in-law, H. Gerry LUNN (February 2001.) Left to mourn her and celebrate a life well lived are her children; Ingrid (Greg) REBAR, Margit LUNN (Brian LAXDAL), Ralph WEITZENBAUER, Helen REHORST, Step-son Claus (Elke) BREMEN, and her grandchildren Jessika (Michael) HELTEBRAKE, Josie WEITZENBAUER, Jacob REHORST, Matthew REHORST, and Kassandra REHORST. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth, Ontario on Thursday, 15 November 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Reception will immediately follow the Service in the Perth Legion Branch 244, in the Lounge. Graveside Interment Service will take place at Wideman Mennonite Cemetery, Hwy. #48, Markham, Ontario at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 17 November 2007. Reception will follow interment in the Church Reception Hall. At Ann's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to the LAWS or the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be appreciated. Loving father and father-in-law of Charlie and Kip, Sue and Steve, and Mark and Bernadette. Dear brother of Ruth ZARETSKY, and brother-in-law of Ethel COHEN and Ruth HURWITZ. Devoted grandfather of Sarah, Josh, Adam, Matan, and Gabe. Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father of Evelyn, Paul, Jim (Chris), Bruce (Barbara), Susan, Frank, and the late D'Arcy. Cherished Grandpa of Chris, Rebecca (Rey CASAS), Steven, Michelle (Davy REBOLO), Lisa and Rachel. Adored Great-grandpa of Evie, Ben, Lola and Joshua.
