POPLAR,
Mary
Ann (née
YOUNG)
On September 2, 2007 Mary Ann
POPLAR (née
YOUNG) our loving sister,
mother, and grandmother died peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital
in Toronto. Her brother, Terry
YOUNG, her son Raven
POPLAR, his
wife Michelle
POPLAR, and Mary Ann's precious granddaughter Bronwyn
are deeply saddened by her death. She will be missed by all who
knew her.
Mary Ann died of a very aggressive cancer which took her from
this world far too early. She did not want a funeral service,
but wanted her family and Friends to gather for a joyous celebration
of her life. She was not a religious person and believed that
this life is what we have and lived it as such. What a precious
gift this life is.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Mary Ann in a few weeks
time. Please contact poplarmemorial@gmail.com for details.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lance Armstrong
Foundation in memory of Mary Ann.
