FOREHT, Marjorie Ruth (née MOONEY)
Passed away peacefully at Versa Care Windsor Place on December 29, 2006 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Sidney. Dear mother of Peter FOREHT and wife Cathy of Toronto; and Chris and husband Doctor Dave FISHER, of Windsor. Dear Grandmother of Lenny and wife Jill; Celine and companion Jason; Sarah; Paula and companion Hans, and Dan and wife Sarah. Dear sister of Edith PONGRATZ and her late husband Tony; Helen LETT and her late husband Jim; Agnes and husband Joel ALDRED, and the late Marion NICOL and her late husband Don. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Marjorie served during World War 2 with the Canadian Forces in London, Ontario and later worked for many years at both Loblaws and Eatons. The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at both Versa Care Windsor Place and Oak Park Terrace. Margie was a loving mother, and will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place, and a family service in London, will take place at a later date. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East. Unexpectedly, with her family by her side, on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Sunnybrook Hospital in her 88th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving and devoted mother to Ann DU PONT (Ron), David (Louise) and Peter (Bonnie). She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and sister Melba GALLIVAN. Predeceased by her brother Orville and sister Joan. Greatly admired and respected by relatives and Friends. She will be sadly missed but always remembered. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10 north of Queen Elizabeth Way), Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Clement Church, 409 Markland Drive (at Bloor Street), Etobicoke. Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Tuesday September 4, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Cherished and much loved father of Rosina and her husband Silvano MAROLA, Rita and her husband Tony BARBATI, Luciano (Lou) and his wife Cheri and Agostino and his wife Orsolina. Loving Nonno of Mario and Cynthia, Rob and Erin, Peter, David Paul, Nida and Giovanni, Luana and Aldo, Tony, Michael, Nicholas, Vince and Rosina and great-grandchildren, including Christina, Martina, Anthony, Olivia, Marisa and Cesidio. He will be sadly missed by his extended loving family and Friends. On behalf of the family we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Doctor PONTARINI, for his years of care, nurses, doctors and staff of the Trillium Health Centre - Stroke Unit and Intensive Care Unit for their compassion. Also special thanks to Elizabeth and William of Spectrum Health Care; and to Rose JACOBO for her wonderful care of Papa while he was at home. Dear father of Mia and Frans DORSMAN of Ingersoll, Art and Anne VAN DE COEVERING of Thamesford and Tina and Terry PONTING of Ingersoll. Dear grandfather-Opa of Jeff and Craig (Liz) DORSMAN, Jason VAN DE COEVERING, Andrew and Nicole PONTING and great-grandchildren Joe and John, Sarah and Jacob. Also survived by brothers and sisters in Holland. LAWRENCE, Albert Walter
Passed away in Aurora, Ontario on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Minnie LAWRENCE, and siblings Charles, Jack, Bill LAWRENCE, Alice George and niece Virginia PONZO. Survived by niece Lillian PHILLIPS, nephew Bob LAWRENCE, niece Ann HAMILTON and their families. He served in World War 2 with Queen's York Rangers in the Royal Canadian Army. Albert was a longtime employee with the North York Board of Education and was a longtime resident of Leaside, pursuing his hobby of painting. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 12 noon-2 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th.
