PEIRCE,
Thomas
Left us on September 25th, 2007 at his home in Barbados. son
of Veronica and the late T. Noël
PEIRCE and brother of Betty
Anne FERGUSON,
Dundas, and
Richard
(Paula) in Toronto. He leaves
his wife Andy, daughter Vickie
COZIER
(Gregory) and sons James
(Gail) and Robert (Rosette) along with six adorable grandchildren.
Tom lived the majority of his life in his beloved Barbados and
is remembered for his many achievements in his work in the Insurance
business and his participation in, and contributions to, the
sports of cricket and horse racing. Mostly, however, he showed
by his own examples the true meaning of love and caring for others.
In this, he stood above all others. In the latter part of his
life, Tom faced a health crisis which he fought with determination
and dignity. He received great help from the cardiac unit at
Toronto
General
Hospital and particularly Doctor Heather
ROSS and
her team. Should you care to, Tom would have greatly appreciated
you signing your organ donation card and donations in his memory
can be made to Doctor Ross' Heart Transplant Research at Toronto
General and Western Hospital Foundation at 416-603-5958.
