BAST, Cory Stewart “Elvis&rdquo
On Monday, January 1, 2007 at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, surrounded by family after winning a courageous battle with leukemia, passed away due to complications from H.L.H. a rare blood disorder, at the age of 15 years. Beloved son of Dale and Heather BAST of Kitchener. Cherished brother of Amanda (Bug.) Also brother of Dillon and David BAST of Elliot Lake. Loving grand_son of Winston and Dorothy BELL of Kitchener and Carla FRIES and her husband Ross of Kitchener. Great-grand_son of Madeline PEGELO of Chesley. Dear nephew of Jason and Becky BELL, Dallas and Jenny BELL, Monty BELL and Liz TOD, Todd and Brandi BAST, Mark FRIES and Lori FRIES. Dear cousin of Nicki, Reann, Hayden, Nathan, Kyle, Ethan, Gracie and Chase. Cory will be missed by his many Friends. Predeceased by his grandfather Ralph BAST, uncle Kelly BAST (Whitey.) Cory was a grade 10 student at Bluevale Collegiate. He touched many peoples lives through his quick wit, easy smile and caring character. He loved music and spending time working in the garage on various projects. Cory's family will receive relatives and Friends on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 noon-12: 45 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2007 in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Brenda WOODALL officiating. Interment Bridgeport Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home. McKAY, John Leitch
Passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007 in Barrie, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family. John McKAY beloved husband of the late Ethel, leaves three daughters; Wendy (Bruce WIGGINS,) Jaqueline (James PEGG) and Louise (Rusty ROBINSON) and his beloved grandchildren Devin, Alex, Claragh, Andrew, Gilly and Tully. He is survived by his brothers Frank (Belle) and Mervyn of Northern Ireland, Bill (Margarite) of New Zealand, his sister Eileen (the late Harry) from Ottawa and his sister-in-law Frances (the late Joe McKAY) of Niagara Falls. He is predeceased by Joe, Doreen, Bertie and little Maisie. John was greatly loved by all his nephews and nieces. John was born in Glenarm (Larne) Northern Ireland by the seaside and never ventured far from water. He lived life with adventure and enthusiasm. After his beloved wife Ethel passed away in 1986, John spent the years boating and spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be known for his warmth, smiling eyes and his wonderful Irish sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends may call at Trinity Anglican Church, Collier Street, Barrie on Thursday from 1: 30 until time of service in the church on Thursday, June 28 at 2: 30 p.m. Cremation. TORRANCE, Kenneth Alexander Reesor
(September 29, 1928-September 14, 2007)
Peacefully at Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2007. Dearly loved and loving husband of Gloria (née PEGG) and devoted father of Martha, Emily and Laura. Ken will be sadly missed by his son-in-law John Gillan and granddaughter Kaelyn.
Ken was the youngest child of the late John Alexander TORRANCE and Laura Muriel REESOR of Locust Hill, Ontario. He is survived by his sister Barbara of Locust Hill and was predeceased by his brother Roderick.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held in the Chapel, Toronto Necropolis, 200 Winchester Street, on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 1: 00 p.m.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Foundation, 176 Wellington Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario L0S 1J0 would be appreciated by the family.

KELLOGG, Rev. J. Clare
Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 in his 85th year. Husband of Mary RUTHERFORD. Father of Jean (Donald BLACK), Paul (Abbie BAKAN), Ian (Karen RODMAN), Andrew (Ruth PENTINGA) and Catherine (Kip PEGLEY). Grandfather of Erin, Hugh, Meredith, Rachel, Adam, Sean and Samuel. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Reception at the Trinity United Church CE Centre, Cobourg on Monday, July 2nd from 11: 30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. A time of Family Memories will be held at 12 noon.
