Passed away peacefully and with great dignity on Wednesday, June 20,
2007 after a brief battle with cancer. Chuck was born December 14,
1930 in San Bernardino, California. He made his way to Canada
in 1950 where he played for Toronto Balmy Beach Football team
(Ontario Rugby Football Union champs in 1950) and made Canada
his home after retiring from the U.S. Army in 1954. He worked
in the tool business in Canada and the U.S., owning Strongridge
Limited until 1996 and was a valued member of W.W. Sales right
up until his death. Chuck will be remembered for his love of
family and Friends, his laughter, his gift of storytelling and
his passion for golf.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria; mother Betty

the mother of his 5 children.
At Chuck's request, his remains have been cremated. Please join
us for a celebration of his life to be held on Sunday, June 24,
2007 from 1 p.m. to 4: 30 p.m. at The Brampton Golf Club (Maple
Room) located at 7700 Kennedy Road South in Brampton. A private
memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
