RIPLEY, Wes
Wes, passed away October 2, 2007 at the U of A Hospital in Edmonton. Our Dad was the last Canadian Pacific Railway Station Agent for the Flesherton station in Ceylon before it was closed. He is survived by his wife Ruth, of Sherwood Park, Alberta, his daughter Carolyn CHICHAK and family of Edmonton, his son, Glenn and family of Sherwood Park and his daughter Linda NUTTALL and family of Lafontaine, Ontario. He was the grandpa of eight grandchildren and the great-grandpa of seven. He was very much loved and will be very much missed.

At Saint Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, Sunday evening September 16, 2007. The former Joyce SMITH of Kitchener at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth LONG. Loving mother of Lori-Anne RUMIG and her husband Michael of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Melanie RICHARDSON and her husband John of New Hamburg and one great-grand_son Brady. Dear sister of Dorothy CAUDLE of R.R.#6, Wiarton, Harry SMITH and his wife Theresa of Kenora, Keith SMITH and his wife Joan of Hepworth, Eleanor NUTTALL and her husband Don and Gwen ARNOLD and her husband Ted all of R.R.#3, Hepworth. Dear sister-in-law of Marie McCULLOCH and her husband Lloyd of R.R.#3, Allenford. Friends may call at the Downs and son Funeral Home Hepworth Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home Thursday morning at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Marg CUTTING (née RIBEY,) beloved wife of Bev CUTTING of Meaford, passed away at the Meaford Hospital on Tuesday October 9, 2007 at the age of 66. Loved mother of Sandra VINCE (Ken) of Stirling, and Raymond CUTTING (Kathie) of Garner, North Carolina and sadly missed grandmother of Alex and Aaron VINCE and Courtney and Kyle CUTTING. Dear sister of Lois (Bill) JOHNSTON of Paisley, Murray (Dorothy) RIBEY of R.R.#4 Paisley, and Ross (Joyce) RIBEY of Seaforth. Predeceased by a brother Charles RIBEY and remembered by sister-in-law Pat of Saskatchewan. Also survived by sisters-in-law Leona (Bud) NUTTALL and Isobel (late Tom) CUTTING of Owen Sound and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Family will receive Friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., in Meaford on Friday October 12 from noon until the hour of service at 2: 00 p.m. Committal service and interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford to follow. At the Southampton Care Centre on Saturday, October 13th, 2007 at the age of 84 years, Orland NUTTALL of Port Elgin. Husband of the late Margaret McGILLIVRAY and the late Jeannine CHARPENTIER. Father of Larry of Waterloo and Gary and his wife Ellen of Etobicoke. Grandfather of Fraser, Spencer and Heather. Brother of Margaret LEIGHTON, Mima and her husband Mac McGILLIVRAY, Les and his wife Muriel, Wallace, Sherwood “Bud” and his wife Leona, Shirley and her husband Carm SWEIGER, Marlene and her husband Harvey DAVIDSON, Don and his wife Eleanor, and Alexina and her husband Mike ATKINSON. Stepfather of Norman DESMARIAS, Raymond DESMARIAS, Leo DESMARIAS, and Rita GODIN. He is predeceased by his sister Lenore KING. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. on Monday. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday at 1: 00 p.m. with the Rev. Robert WIDDOWSON officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #340, Port Elgin will hold a memorial service in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6: 45 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Oshawa.
