NOONAN, Brian Francis
Suddenly at his residence at Christie Lake on Saturday June 9th, 2007, Brian F. NOONAN (Honorary Colonel of the former Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment, member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, Fourth Degree Knight, Knights of Columbus, financial specialist for over 50 years). son of the late Doctor John Francis and Ann NOONAN of Perth, beloved husband for 53 years to Patricia (O'NEILL) NOONAN; loved and respected father of Sally, Colleen (Bruce EWING), Richard (Tracy DEGROOT), Fred, Julia (Grady SAVAGE) and the late John. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Simon, Riley, Madelaine, Mitchell, Declan and Ronan and his sister Dorothy SIGOUIN. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Monday June 11th, 2007 from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint_Johns Church, Perth Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment, Saint_John's Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Foundation of the Great War Memorial Hospital, 33 Drummond St. W., Perth K7H 2K1 or Saint_Johns Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.

NOONAN, Ernest Robert " Ernie"
Passed away peacefully, in the arms of his loving family, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga on Wednesday, July 11th, 2007. Ernie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris (née MORROW) and his children Randy, daughter-in-law Lynn, Lianne and son-in-law Paul, Danny and Todd and daughter-in-law Debbie. Also survived by his grandchildren Patrick, James, Kacey, Ben, Breigha, Hayden, Sheridan, Alysia and Tosh; great-grandchildren Paige, Harper and Fiona. Ernie will be missed by his brother Bob and sisters Betty, Beverly and Mary. Ernie is a Veteran of World War 2. In his early years he was involved with amateur hockey in eastern Ontario, both as a coach and league president. He worked for 35 years in the insurance industry with Prudential of America, where he enjoyed tremendous success. He retired with the role of Vice President. Friends will be received at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West (east of Kerr St.), Oakville on Saturday, July 14th, 2007, from noon until the time of service at 1p.m., in the chapel. A reception will follow the service and then a procession to Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Oakville. Special thanks to Doctor SAULS, Credit Valley Hospital and the nurses on 3B.

Passed away peacefully at the Roberta Place Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 9th, 2007. Leendert NOORDEGRAAF in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Margje (née WINTERS) of Roberta Place and formerly of Minesing. Dear father of Maria CORNELISSE (Cory,) Lena KLOOSTERMAN (Wayne,) Wilhelmina HARRIS (George,) Klaas NOORDEGRAAF (Margje,) Mary VEENSTRA (Casey,) Leonard NOORDEGRAAF (Gerry,) Elizabeth McNABB (Robert), Harry NOORDEGRAAF (Marlene), Lucille BARRETT (Michael) and Robert NOORDEGRAAF (Louise.) Loving grandfather of 40 grandchildren, one pre-deceased and 48 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Hank of Holland and by his numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his brothers Adrian and Pete of Holland and Jan of Brazil and by his sisters Mog and Riek of Holland and Annie of Kincardine. Friends called at the Jennett Chapel of the McClelland and Slessor Funeral Home, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 33 Shirley Avenue in Barrie on Friday, October 12th at 11: 00 a.m. with visitation in the church one hour prior. Interment Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Timothy Christian School as your expression of sympathy.
