Passed away at West Park Long Term Care Centre on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in his 109th year. Beloved husband of the late Edna RICHARDS (1930) and Effie WOOLLEY (1988.) Loving father of Doreen and her husband Donald NOBBS. Dear grandfather of Catherine and her husband Colin PRYOR, Elizabeth and her husband Jim KNOWLTON and great-grandfather of Jamieson, Mathew, Sarah and Taylor. Funeral service will be held at St. Luke's United Church, 516 The Kingsway, at Kipling, on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

SCARROW, Elmer James “E.J.” (September 30, 1930 to October 10, Elmer passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound in his 78th year. Elmer was the beloved husband of the former Shirley MONK for over 51 years. Together they shared the love of their children: Lynda of Toronto, James of Desboro, Joe and his wife Nancy of Chatsworth, Cheryl and her husband John CLARK of Meaford, David and his wife Judy of Chatsworth and Jill and her husband Tim NOBES of Innisfil. He was especially proud of his grandchildren Andie, Craig, Patti, Mackenzie, Emily, Dayla, Paige and Isaac. Beloved brother of Morna HOSKINS of Owen Sound, Lennard and his wife Anne of Grand Prairie, Alberta, and Velma and her husband Jim CARROL of Oakville. Elmer will be remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many Friends and will remain in our hearts always. Friends are invited to call at the Currie Funeral Home in Chatsworth for visitation on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m., where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday morning at 11 a.m. Pastor Sheilah FLETCH will officiate. Interment at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Tara. If so desired, as you expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

NOBLE, Henrietta Louise (HIPPERT)
Peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, June 15th, 2007 at Grey Bruce Health Services in Markdale in her 81st year. The former Henrietta HIPPERT was the beloved wife of Harry NOBLE, she was the loving mother of Daniel and his wife Sandy, Nadine and her husband Jack JENNINGS, Marie and her husband Keith TURNER, Jamie, and Ron and his wife Mia. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren: Lisa, Justin, Brian, Lindsay, Jenn, Erin, Kerry, Kelly, Paul and Mitchell. She will be sadly missed by her sister Ruth MAXWELL. A private family service was conducted at the Currie Funeral Home in Chatsworth. Pastor Brian DUNLOP officiated. Interment took place at Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Desboro. If so desired, memorial contributions to the Markdale Hospital Building Fund, Lutheran World Relief, A.L.S. Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers thank you.

Passed away December 4th, 2007 at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home, Picton, Ontario at the age of 81. Born October 28th, 1926 in Cumberland, British Columbia and raised in Royston, British Columbia. Jack was the son of the late Arthur and Alice EDWARDS. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernice and daughter Judi (John CHISLING) of Wellington, granddaughter Allison BIRDSALL of Markham, stepson David NOBLES (Connie) of Dartmouth and their children Sean of Petawawa and Stephanie of California; his brother Ralph (Pat) of Perth and nephews Ron, Doug (Joanne) and Brian of Ottawa. Always kind, always generous, we will miss him greatly. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Monday, December 17th at 1: 00 p.m. at the H.J.
