PICKELL, Ina Elizabeth (formerly CARR, née KING)
Dedicated member of Saint Marys Presbyterian Church, at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family on December 29, 2006 at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Lewis and Annie KING. Beloved wife of the late George CARR (1964) and the late Ken PICKELL (1994.) Cherished mother of Phyllis SPEARIN and husband Bill, Anne SWINKELS and Mike CHANDLER, Bill CARR and wife Lynn and step-children Norma HAVES and husband Lewis, Bill PICKELL and wife Mary, Dorothy McLEOD and Brenda PEARSON and husband Leonard. Dear sister of Joyce NETHERCOTT and sister-in-law of Jean CARR, Robert LAMOND and Lewis PELTON. Proud grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 21. She will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, Ina is predeceased by her sisters Doris LAMOND and Marjorie PELTON and brothers-in-law Lloyd NETHERCOTT, Reg CARR and wife Iona, Tom CARR, Nelson BAKER and his wife Mina and son-in-law Henry SWINKELS. Family and Friends will be received at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. Saint Marys (519-284-2820) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Saint Marys Presbyterian Church, 147 Widder St. E. at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. John FRASER officiating. Interment at Saint Marys Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Saint Marys Presbyterian Church, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. WEIR, James " Jim" Andrew
At the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007. James "Jim" Andrew WEIR of Saint Thomas in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 64 years of Kathleen "Kay" (BOWEN) WEIR and dearly loved father of Karen NETHERCOTT of Saint Thomas; Sandra and her husband Terry JOHNSON of Merlin and Mary and her husband Robert PEARSON of Saint Thomas. Predeceased by a brother Murray Edward WEIR (1990.) Jim is also lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren Lori Lynn, Brian, Robert, Gregory and his wife Kelly, Aaron and his wife Jennifer and Kathleen and Andrew; by 1 great-grandchild Claire and by several nieces and nephews. He was born in Dexter March 4th, 1925, the son of the late Robert Henry and Leila Marguerite (JONES) WEIR. Jim served overseas during World War 2 as a Petty Officer and a cook he was a retired Post Master at the Port Stanley, Strathroy and Leamington Post Offices. He was an adherent of the Sparta United Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Friday at 1: 00 p.m. Private interment in Aylmer Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital or the Sparta United Church.

LLOYD, Helen Leona (née HERRON)
(November 11, 1923-December 8, 2007)
Helen's family is very sad to announce her recent passing. Helen died peacefully with family by her side. Predeceased by John LLOYD, her loving husband of 54 years. Cherished mother of Brian, Debbie (Henjo NETTESHEIM,) and Carol (Tim PINNINGTON,) and sadly missed by grandchildren Katy, Carly, Cameron and Adam. Survived by her sisters Frances and Billie (Dorothy), predeceased by sister Norma and brothers Whitney, Gordon and Bob. Helen enjoyed a vibrant social life with her wonderful Friends. Her inner strength touched all those who knew her and she enriched the lives of all of us who loved her. The Funeral Service will be held at Humber Valley United Church, (76 Anglesey Boulevard, Etobicoke), on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 1 p.m., with reception to follow.
