PEPPERDINE, Edna Mary (née GENOE)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Sunday June 24, 2007 in her 78th year. Loving wife and best friend of Robert (Bob) for 54 years. Devoted mother of Brian PEPPERDINE (Veronica), Wayne PEPPERDINE (Debra,) Linda LING (Brad) and Shelley RENHAN (Gerry.) She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children and her four granddaughters Rachel, Emily, Elizabeth and Makayla all of whom she cherished. A long, hard battle was fought with Alzheimer's and colon cancer. A special thanks to her family doctor Doctor D.S. NESDALY and doctors K.R. McKENZIE, B. PRESSNAIL and R. IRVIN in Palliative Care. Cremation has taken place with private family interment at Barrie Union Cemetery. Family and Friends who wish to recognize happy times together may make a donation to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. Passed away peacefully on Friday October 26, 2007 at the Stayner Nursing Home in her 81st year. Betty of Sunnidale Corners, beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Gail and her husband Randy JOHNS of Blackstock, Elaine and her husband of Allen COLLINGS of Stayner, Murray and his wife Carolin of Collingwood and Barry and his wife Louise of Sunnidale Corners. Dear grandmother of Andrea and her husband Sam GALICK, Jeremy, Ryan and his partner Megan, Darryl and his partner Ashley, Glen and his wife Amber, Kathy-Jo and her partner Eugene NESS, Sabrina and her fiancé Mike McDERMID, Christopher and his fiancée Deidre, Bradley and Samantha. Great-grandmother of Ginea, Kaden, Tyler, Kyle, Lauren, Lindsay and Ryley. Also survived by her sister Ruby NEVILS of Stayner and sister-in-law Geraldine PADDISON of Collingwood. Predeceased by her sisters Leola PADDISON, Jean SPECK and twin brother Eric PADDISON. Friends were received at the Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26 (Main St.), Stayner (705-428-2637) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday October 28, 2007. Funeral Service was held at Centennial United Church, 234 William Street, Stayner on Monday October 29, 2007 at 2 o'clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. He will be remembered for his dynamic personality, generosity, integrity and love of family. A private family service was held at the Rosar- Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street (south of Wellesley). If desired, donations in his name may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Saint Michael's Hospital, 30 Bond Street, Toronto, Ontario.

TALLMAN, Gladys
Peacefully at Briton House, Toronto on August 6 2007, after a full, active and happy life lived with grace and great style. She has gone to join her beloved husband Addison (1987). She will be truly missed by her daughter, Maribell WHITE/WHYTE and sons Addison, Ralph (Louise), and Lloyd (Bibiane), her grandchildren Lorelei NARDI (Musi), Jennifer NESS (Mitch), Bradley WHITE/WHYTE (Margie), Graham, Ryan and Kristin TALLMAN, Anisa and Justin TALLMAN and Michelle (Mick) GARDNER, and her eight great-grandchildren who gave her great joy. She is also survived by her brothers Walter ARD (Linda,) and Lawrence ARD (Helga.) She was very active in Port Nelson Church in Burlington, The Big Sisters Association and Garden Club of Burlington, and was truly a sweet, loving lady who was devoted to her family and loved playing bridge and entertaining. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Briton House for their care and compassion in her latter days. Cremation has taken place with a private service to be held at a later date.
