Born 17th of April, 1937, died unexpectedly on the 27th of September,
2007. Youngest
son of William Richard and Myrtle
SIMMONS of Redruth,
Cornwall, United Kingdom he was predeceased by his eldest sibling
Raymond SIMMONS. An intensely private man, he was a life-long
reader, scholar, cinephile and student of geneology, who worked
as a biometrician for the Ministry of Agriculture in Northern
Ireland from 1970 to 1974, and from 1974 onwards with the Pacific
Forestry Research Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Wartime conditions and his National Service with the Royal Air
Force as a radio fitter in West Germany, formed habits of a lifetime.
He has three sons, Martin, Brian and Collan (Anisa
MNUYSIWALLA)
SIMMONS and one grand_son, Navan James
MNUYSIWALLA. He is survived
by his sister Marlene
ROBERTS, sister-in-law Florrie
SIMMONS and
their families in Cornwall, and ex-wife Anne
SIMMONS. In lieu
