pow wow circle, Friends. Archie enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing
baseball, step dancing, joking and story telling. Archie attended
numerous pow wows, carrying the Veterans Staff. Archie served in WW2 and the
Korean War. Rested at South Bay Community Centre from 7 pm,
Thursday, December 21, 2006 until the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December
23, 2006 at 11 am. Burial in Veterans Cemetery.

retired to cottage country. Member of the Mad River Golf Club
and active in Old Timers' Hockey. John will be remembered for
his zest for life and his utmost devotion to family and Friends.
His life's work was the pursuit of fairness in the criminal justice
system. His passions included skiing, golf, windsur fing, water
skiing, hockey, and tennis. John considered each day a blessing
and his positive nature did not abandon him during his most difficult
illness. He is an inspiration to us all. Friends may call at
the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley Streets)
Barrie, on Thursday, June 21st from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to
9: 00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Collier Street
United Church, 112 Collier Street, Barrie, on Friday, June 22nd,
2007, at 1: 00 p.m. The Alexander and Straub families express

teams at the Princess Margaret Hospital (Toronto) and the Royal

JEWELL and many nieces and nephews. Fred loved the outdoors, he rode his
ATV, worked in the woods, and operated his own sawmill. He enjoyed wood working,
restoring furniture, and was known for his prize winning pumpkins. His greatest love was
for his wife and family. A visitation was held Sunday at the Tehkummah Pentecostal Church
and a funeral service took place Monday, January 22 at the church as well. Burial will be
in the spring at Hilly Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Pentecostal Church or to the
Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated in Fred's memory.

family. Born and raised in Montreal, Peter moved to Toronto in
the 1970's. His entire career was centred in the investment business,
retiring early from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce World
Markets in the spring of 2006. Peter's passions included fishing,
hunting, golf, and summers in North Hatley, Quebec. His family
extends their sincere gratitude to the professionals at Saint Michael's
Hospital in Emergency, Step-Up (14th Floor) and Intensive Care
Unit. Their outstanding care and support was deeply appreciated.
Peter, independent by nature, embodied life to the fullest and
we will miss him. A service will be held at The Unity Church,
173 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto (2 stoplights west of Yonge
Street) on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. Parking is available
next door at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home. Donations in Peter's
