Peacefully on November 26, 2007 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn. Grandfather to Jesse CLARK, Carrie CRULL, Kevin CRULL, Nichola MARKHAM and Rachel MARKHAM. Great-grandfather to Zoe CLARK and Jackson CLARK. George was the co-founder of DSMA International which designed and constructed wind tunnels around the world and more recently, of The Trellis Works in partnership with his wife. Beloved wife of the late Irving Norman NEAMTAN ('Neamie') and beloved mother of Judith (Rick GORDON) of Vancouver and Nancy (Victor LAPALME) of Montreal. Grandmother to Joshua GORDON, Louis NEAMTAN- LAPALME and Gabrielle NEAMTAN- LAPALME. Dear sister of the Honorable Lorraine GOTLIB (Chris PATERSON) and the late Dorothy Gordon BUCK of Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Gert lived a long, happy and productive life as wife, mother, friend, and dedicated social worker. Many thanks to the caregivers at Le Waldorf and her special caregiver Evina Munro for their compassionate and tender care in her last years. BARKER PAULSON, Marilyn (née STEVENS)
Marilyn left hand-in-hand with the angels on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto after a short but courageous and well fought battle with brain cancer.
Marilyn is the beloved daughter of the late Fred and Reta STEVENS. She leaves her loving daughter Heather McGORAN and son-in-law Peter, as well as three grandchildren to whom she was devoted and immensely proud, Lindsay, Kaitlin, and Matthew, who all travelled to amazing destinations with their 'Grandy'. Marilyn was the much loved sister and great friend to Fred STEVENS and his wife Laura, and special aunt to Leah and her husband Erik.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Princess Margaret Hospital, in particular Doctor Normand LAPERRIERE as well as Marilyn's caregiver Carolina RAZON who was an angel for Marilyn in her last weeks.

Marie passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2007, at the age of 92. She had lived with Alzheimer's for some time. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Girardot AUST and their four children, Jacqueline Louise (William P. SUTTON) of Toronto, Arthur Edward (Claire LAPORTE) of Montreal, Murray Phillip (Maureen McCLINTOCK) of Toronto and William Charles of Stanstead. Marie and Ed had 7 grandchildren, William SUTTON, Tara SUTTON (Faisal KEDAIRY) James SUTTON, Thomas Laporte AUST, Charles Laporte AUST, Charlotte AUST and Edward M. AUST. They had recently become great-grandparents with the birth of Baz KEDAIRY. Marie was born on June 9th, 1915 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. She was the second of five children (all of whom have predeceased her) of Manuelita GRANSAULL and William Arthur MURRAY, the industrialist. After receiving her schooling in London, England, she came to Montreal in her early twenties. Later she met and in 1943, married Ed with whom she shared her life for 64 years. Together, they raised their family of four children in the Town of Mount Royal, where they were active in the community and in the Annunciation of Our Lady Parish. They had spent their latter years in Georgeville, Quebec, on Lake Memphremagog and recently at Place Kensington in Westmount, Quebec. Marie was dedicated to her family, was an amateur artist, an enthusiastic tennis player, a passionate nutritionist, and an ardent student of life. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones and long remembered for her generous heart, energy and original thinking. The family will hold a private celebration of her life at the Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, on Saturday December 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. Your prayers are appreciated.

Marcia Henrietta LAPSLEY passed away swiftly at the Foothills Hospital on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Devoted wife of John LAPSLEY of Calgary. Beloved and loving mother to John Mitchell LAPSLEY and Cheryl LAPSLEY of Portland, Oregon and Andrew Zoltan LAPSLEY and Kimberly LAPSLEY of Morristown, New Jersey. Engaged and active grandmother to John Joseph, Andrew James, Madeleine Adams and namesake Marci Rose. Survived by her sister Beverly and her husband Zoltan, as well as sister Bonnie; as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Cecil, step-father Myron (Mike) and mother Gerda and as well as brother Terry. In her youth, Marcia was a scholar and an athlete, and loved to dance and figure skate. After a career as an artisan, as an entrepreneur and finally in the energy industry, Marcia dedicated her life to service in various forms. She devoted time in her life to community theatre, local historical societies, served as a little league baseball coach, and was a stalwart life member of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire. Marcia served in national, provincial and municipal leadership positions for the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire, most recently founding the newest chapter. Marcia was kind and caring to all she knew, and wanted ever to make other people comfortable and supported. Many called her Mom, and mourn her passing.
