Passed away peacefully in Kelowna, British Columbia on October 4th,
2007 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wife of 61 years Kay
and survived by his loving children Eric, Catherine, Carla and
Paul

brother-in-law to Suzanne

REIMER. He will be greatly
missed by his grandchildren Brad, Kate, Molly and their father
David ALLGOOD, Carrie, Kevin, Jessica and Pauline. Born in Dalmeny,
Saskatchewan, Al served in World War 2 and after attending the
U of S and graduating from University of British Columbia; he
was successful in building careers as both an educator and administrator.
After retiring as the National Director of Water and Safety Services
for the Red Cross, he continued his active involvement in church
and community services. Al's life achievements resulted in numerous
awards and recognitions among them the Queen's Silver Jubilee
Medal. A Memorial will be held @ 12 p.m. November 10th, 2007
at First Mennonite Church, 1305 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, British
Columbia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mennonite
Central Committee.

JOHN, beloved grandchildren Saira and Paul, and his siblings,

JOHN will always be remembered for his life
of devotion to family, church and profession. His greatest joy
was in making others happy. Koppara
JOHN's strong faith, compassion,
willingness to help people in need, dedication to the younger
generation in his church and his desire for justice and peace
are the hallmarks of his life. We are very grateful for the loving
care provided by all the dedicated Trillium staff which eased
the passing of his final days. Friends may call at the Turner and
Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10,
N. of the Queen Elizabeth Way), from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Friday,
November 9, 2007. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the University of Trinity College
Chapel, 6 Hoskin Avenue, Toronto (S. of Bloor, W. of University).
Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. For those who wish, donations

up in Tillsonburg and Guelph, Ontario. An excellent student,
she trained as a nurse at Clifton Springs, New York. Edythe and
Dick lived in Toronto and summered for 53 years in Southampton,
Ontario. An accomplished and contented homemaker, Edythe was
also an avid reader who loved ideas and enjoyed philosophical
discussions. She and Dick were long-time supporters of theatre
and music, and they loved entertaining. In every respect she
was an inspiration to all her family. We are most grateful to
the caregivers at Briton House for their compassionate care over
the last seven years. A service of thanksgiving for Edythe's
life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m.
at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., Toronto
(2 lights west of Yonge St.) with visitation one half hour prior
and reception to follow.
