MASH, Anthony " Tony"
Born March 15 1925. After a long illness Tony MASH passed away on December 22nd 2007 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Olive, his daughter Gail GREEN (John,) son Gary MASH, step-daughter Karen BANTOFT, step-son Scott CUMMINGS and step-daughter Judith HEFFERNAN (Michael.) Grandfather of Ken and Mark BANTOFT, Angela AHRENS, Mike GREEN and Claire HEFFERNAN. Great-grandfather of Cheynne and Preston. He is also survived by his brother Denis MASH and his sister Marion BERZINS (John) and their families in England. He is predeceased by his brother Roly MASH and is survived by Roly's family in South Africa. Tony was born in England and fought in the Second World War in the British Navy before coming to Canada and working at Ontario Hydro for 35 years (Ret. 1983). He enjoyed many years boating and collecting model trains. Family will receive visitors in the Ward Funeral Home 109 Reynold Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Thursday December 27, 2007 from 1 p.m. until Service in Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated after the warmth and care that Tony received from the nursing staff and doctors. Peacefully at her home in Owen Sound on Tuesday July 3, 2007. In her 95th year, Winnifred M. HEFT (née SCHNEIDER,) beloved wife of the late Ernest C. HEFT. Dear sister of Dorothy (Mrs. Arthur PICKETT.) Beloved aunt of Nancy WARDELL and John PICKETT. Great aunt of David and Derek WARDELL. Fondly remembered by nieces Dorothy LIPSKIE, Jean BOYCE and Muriel McNABB (nees HEFT) and great nephew Paul BOYCE. Predeceased by her parents Otto SCHNEIDER and his wife May (née GARDHOUSE) and brother-in-law Arthur PICKETT. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning at 11 a.m. Rev. David SHEARMAN officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to either Central Westside United Church or to the Victorian Order of Nurses Supportive Housing #609, 350 - 10th Street East, Owen Sound N4K 6P8 would be appreciated by the family.

BAILEY, Marlene Marie (née SACKS)
Of R.R.#2 Chesley, passed away with her family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Sunday, August 5, 2007 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Carl. Loving mother of Carlene and her husband Dwayne KELL of Allenford, Marlo and his fiancé Alicia DOUGHTY of R.R.#2 Chesley and Darlene and her fiancé Ken BAETZ of R.R.#3 Elmwood. Cherished grandmother of Alicia, Courtney, Brittany, Nicole, Colton, Alexa and Justin and great-grandmother of Wren. Marlene will be missed by her siblings, Joan and her husband Garry WILSON of Winnipeg, Karen and her husband Doug PORTER of Hepworth, Douglas SACKS and his wife Bonnie of R.R.#2 Desboro and Jeff SACKS and his wife Brenda of R.R.#2 Desboro. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Marjorie (HEFT) SACKS. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, Chesley at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment in Chesley Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

SCHWARTZ, Iris May (née KING)
Of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in her 83rd year. Even as her body grew weaker, she maintained her sense of humour and quick wit. Iris was born on June 24, 1925 in Waubaushene, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Annie Belle (ARBOUR) KING. She married Morrell SCHWARTZ on November 30, 1946, who predeceased her on April 18, 2007. Loving mother of Herb and Barb of Owen Sound, Ron and Marg of Kitchener and Steve and Nadine of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Anne Marie, Teresa, Matthew, Amanda and Ryan. She will be fondly remembered by her sister, Joyce and her husband Red SIMMONS of Cornwall and sisters-in-law, Ruth and Stan KAUFMAN of Desboro and Gertrude and Arnold HEFT of Owen Sound. Iris was predeceased by her sister, Kay HOUGHTON. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Friday from 6-9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Branch #144 Ladies Auxiliary service will be held on Friday evening at 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Sullivan Township at 11 a.m. Spring interment Saint Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Sullivan Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
