Suddenly at the South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, July 8th, 2007 of Singhampton in his 60th year. Husband and best friend of Pat STEELE (née HUISH,) son of Bill HANLEY (the late Eleanor) of Maxwell and son-in-law of Thelma HUISH of Collingwood Loving father of Shawn STEELE of Ottawa and Chris (Melanie) STEELE of Singhampton. Dear grampa and popa of Taylor BRYCE, Dylan, Ashley and Katie Dear brother of Bill (Mary Beth) of Nottawa, Raymond (Zita) Nancy (Greg) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON all of Singhampton, and Beverley (Clint) HAVENS of Balzac, Alberta. He will be loved and remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Friends. The family will receive Friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at the Feversham Community Centre on Friday, July 13 at 11 a.m. Interment - Maxwell Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.

HAVENS, Robert
Passed away at his home in Owen Sound on Sunday, December 23, 2007. He was the son of the late Gordon and Grace HAVENS and was raised in Port Glasgow. Bob taught school in Mitchell for 30 years, retiring to Owen Sound in 2001. Survived by his loving wife Penny (née BLAIR,) his daughters Suzanne and her husband William MEINEN of Kirkton and Jennifer and her husband Brendan COOK of London and his grandchildren Noah, Anneka and Asher MEINEN. Brother of Mary Ann and her husband Richard HAGGITH of London and Julie and her husband Wentworth NEWMAN of West Lorne. Also survived by in-laws Rose and Bev BLAIR, brother-in-law Gerry and his wife Mary BLAIR and sister-in-law Cheryl BUCK, all of Owen Sound. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A come and go gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Mitchell on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Peacefully, at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Saturday, December 8, 2007, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Alice McFarlane JOYCE (1998.) Loving father of Wendy PAUL and her husband Manfred, Barbara TKACH and her husband Frank, Bob JOYCE and his wife Deborah CARDIFF, and Cathie McGUGAN and her husband Bruce. Cherished grandfather of Gudrun, Brent, Kelly, Andrew, Colin, Melissa, Geoffrey, and great-grandfather of Seven McGREGOR, and step- grandfather of Tyler, Courtney and Matthew. Also missed by brother Don JOYCE and companion Luci HAVERS. Predeceased by brothers Albert and Gordon. Wilbert served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the Royal Air Force during World War 2. He was the owner/operator of a successful printing business for over 40 years. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington (one block north of city hall), 905-632-3333, on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Wellington Square United Church, 2121 Caroline Street, Burlington, on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to take place. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Dedicated member of Saint Marys Presbyterian Church, at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family on December 29, 2006 at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Lewis and Annie KING. Beloved wife of the late George CARR (1964) and the late Ken PICKELL (1994.) Cherished mother of Phyllis SPEARIN and husband Bill, Anne SWINKELS and Mike CHANDLER, Bill CARR and wife Lynn and step-children Norma HAVES and husband Lewis, Bill PICKELL and wife Mary, Dorothy McLEOD and Brenda PEARSON and husband Leonard. Dear sister of Joyce NETHERCOTT and sister-in-law of Jean CARR, Robert LAMOND and Lewis PELTON. Proud grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 21. She will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, Ina is predeceased by her sisters Doris LAMOND and Marjorie PELTON and brothers-in-law Lloyd NETHERCOTT, Reg CARR and wife Iona, Tom CARR, Nelson BAKER and his wife Mina and son-in-law Henry SWINKELS.
