Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's head on Saturday,
October 20, 2007 at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Charles
GINGERICH officiating.
Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the George
Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer

James McLagan
Born in Toronto on May 15, 1925, Jim died peacefully in Richmond,
British Columbia on October 30, 2007, shortly after being diagnosed
with cancer. He is survived by his partner Nancy, son James,
daughters Briar and Julia, sister Marian, twin brother David,
grandchildren, a great-grand_son and nieces and nephews. Jim was
educated in Toronto at Upper Canada College, served as a Lieut.
in the army during World War 2, then completed his education
at University of Toronto (B.A.Sc.), and Harvard (MBA). He
was president of Shepherd Boats in Niagara and other companies
in the west. He loved the outdoors; sailing, boating, fishing,
hunting, flying and skiing. Jim had a full life as an Engineer,
Entrepreneur and Bon Vivant. Cremation has taken place. There
will be a celebration of his life in Richmond on Saturday November 3rd,
followed by a small family service at a later date.
