VANDERMEY, Kryn " Chris"
The family of the late Kryn VANDERMEY would like to thank family Friends and neighbours for their support during this time. Special thanks to those who visited Kryn and Rita during his last days. Kryn died peacefully with family at his side. Thank you for the wonderful care of Kryn's "Grey Gables family" and Doctor Harvey WINFIELD for his compassionate care over many years. Thanks to our church family and the special funeral celebration provided by Rev. Donna MANN, with music by Jodee JACK, Nancy GULDNER, Bill HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and lunch served by Saint_John's United Church women. Beautiful floral tributes were created by Eckhardts, Flesherton. Many thanks to Rob and the staff of Fawcett Funeral Home for their caring and accommodating services. Thank you for the many contributions in Kryn's memory to support Grey Gables. Kryn worked hard, lived well and long. A man of family and a man of God. Kryn is greatly missed and always remembered.

Age 82, of Corunna, Ontario, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2007 at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, Sarnia, Ontario. Beloved husband and best friend of Eileen Doris (STRIKE) CRUICKSHANK. Loving father of Pat CRUICKSHANK of Ottawa, Judy MUSGROVE of Windsor, Ontario, Doctor Barbara CRUICKSHANK (Dr. Patrick GULLANE) of Toronto, Joan (Ian) of Bermuda, Georgia (Dr. David) TAILOR/TAYLOR of London, Ontario. Cherished 'Grandpa Doc' of Alanna (Trevor) APPLETON, Ted MUSGROVE, Joanne (Sebastian) GENTIZON and Cameron TAILOR/TAYLOR. Dear brother of Mabel YOUNG and Ella NORTON, both of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents, George Herbert Sr. and Lillian (WHITE/WHYTE) and wife Barbara (SHANNON) (1976;) siblings James 'Bud' CRUICKSHANK, Ilene MILROY and Marguerite GRAY/GREY. George was a naval veteran of World War 2; graduate of the University of Western Ontario, School of Medicine (1950) and practised Family Medicine in Corunna from 1951 to 1983; Chief of Staff, Sarnia General Hospital (1977-1984); Ontario Provincial Coroner (1966-1995) Occupational Health Physician at Petrosar and C.I.L. and Medical Director, Terra (Canada) from 1984-1990. Honoured in 1995 with a Life Membership, College of Family Physicians of Canada. Life member of the Masonic Moore Lodge 294. Life long member and elder of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Corunna, Ontario. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 10th at 11: 00 a.m. from St. Andrew's Church, 437 Colborne Street, Corunna; officiated by Reverends Dan ROUSHORNE and Ernest HERRON. Cremation to follow. Interment at family plot, Bear Creek Cemetery, St. Clair Township, Ontario at a later date. Visitation from 3: 00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday November 9th at St. Andrew's Church, Corunna. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Andrew's Church Memorial Fund, 437 Colborne Street, P.O. PEARSE, Jean Margaret Wilton
Jean died peacefully on Thursday September 27, 2007, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Allan T.M. (Monty) for 37 years, she is survived by Vicki (John GULLICK,) James (Victoria PEARSE,) Sandy (Stewart CAMPBELL) and Bob. Cherished Nana to Brittany, Tobey, Katie, Jillian, Jessica and Christopher. Jean was born in Leeds, England, and during World War 2 was a Royal Navy Women's Royal Naval Service working at Bletchley Park when she met Monty, then a Captain in the Canadian army stationed in London. She immigrated to Canada shortly afterwards, living first in Vancouver and later settling in Toronto. An active member of All Saints' Parish for over 50 years, Jean enjoyed the companionship of many great Friends, literature, music, theatre, cottage life, bridge, sewing, travel and above all her grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen RAWSON, brother Geoffrey HEPWORTH, and sister Marjorie SCOTT. Cremation. A celebration of Jean's life will be held at All Saints' Kingsway, 2850 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on Monday October 15 at 1: 00 p.m. with reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.

Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. Marjorie Ursula REINHART (née BROWN) of Victoria Rest Home, Woodstock, and formerly of Nova Scotia Court, Woodstock, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Andrew REINHART (2001.) Loved daughter of the late Harold and Vera BROWN of Woodstock. Dear mother of Charlotte McINTOSH (Graeme) of Thamesford and Douglas (Cathy) of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Jordan and Quinn. Dear sister of the late Donald BROWN. Loved sister-in-law of Audrey BROWN of Woodstock, Dorothy WOLFCALE (Delbert) of Youngstown, Ohio, Ieleen GULLIFORD (Gordon) of Edmonton, Betty HAY (Gerry) of Winnipeg, and Emery REINHART (Rita) of Sebring, Florida. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mervin and Ina REINHART. Marjorie was devoted to her husband and family and spent 35 years supporting Gordon in the family business, Hyde's Pharmacy. In her retirement years, she volunteered at Family and Children's Services and pursued her passion for travel. As a lifelong member of Dundas Street United Church, she fulfilled many duties, the most notable being her long service in the church choir, the United Church Women (Friendship Circle) and her contribution to the annual church bazaar. She was a life member of the Gideon International Auxiliary. In recent years, with great dignity, courage and humour she managed the ravages of Pick's Disease. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of Victoria Rest Home, Doctor KOCSIS and Doctor DOMINICONE for their constant love and care of Marjorie. Friends will be received at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004), Friday, January 5, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The celebration of Marjorie's life will be held at Dundas Street United Church on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Glen MacPHERSON and Pam WILCOX officiating. Following cremation, interment will take place at a later in the Hillview Cemetery.
