Author, teacher, community activist, and role model, died in
her home on Galiano Island on November 28, 2007 surrounded by
family members. She was 76. The cause of death was complications
from cancer. Jane

Died peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2007 after a brief illness,
in her 88th year, at Toronto East General Hospital. She is survived
by her husband, Edwin Arthur
GOMME, and three sisters, Helen
FOOTE,
Vicky
SIEMENS and Anne
KANTOR. For many years Paula was
a loyal volunteer of the Canadian Red Cross Society and in more
recent years she devoted much time, as a volunteer, to Roy Thomson
Hall. She travelled extensively and for several years was a travel
agent and tour director. Cremation has taken place.
