It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing
of (William) Grant
McGREGOR on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Oakville
Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Grant
was born on October 12, 1944 in Montreal, Quebec. He is predeceased
by his parents, Dugald and Violet
McGREGOR and his only sister,
June. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Sandra,
his precious daughter Meghan, of whom he was so proud, and his
loyal companion, Sassy. He will be deeply missed by his many
Friends, a multitude of cousins, Skal members everywhere, his
special "mates" in London, England and business associates worldwide.
He was a passionate Director of Sales for Jolly Beach Resort
in Antigua and will always be remembered for his dedication and
integrity in business. A very special thank you to our most compassionate

Hospital in his 75th year after a brief illness with Leukemia.

uncle of many nieces, nephews and grand nieces/nephews. Born
in the farming community of Warkworth, Ontario, John moved to
Toronto and began his career with the Toronto Police Force in
1954 as a 3rd class constable at One Division. He served his
city for over 28 years in various capacities at divisions 14,
32, 41 and 3 district as a uniformed and plain clothes officer.
His favourite assignment was the time spent in plain clothes
as a detective. He retired from the force in 1981, having achieved
the rank of staff sergeant. Not one to sit idly by, he further
honed his investigative skills with the Canadian Imperial Bank
of Commerce, joining their Corporate Security Division in 1982 and
retiring for the final time in 1995. Our father's bigger than
life personality, love of his Friends, caring for his family
and financial leadership to all of us will be sorely missed.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 21st and Thursday, November 22nd
from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, November 23rd from 12 noon at the R.S.
Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding, south of Steeles).
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, November 23,
2007 at 1 p.m. Visitation will also take place Saturday, November 24,
2007 at 10 a.m., followed by Service at 11 a.m. at the Walas
Funeral Home, Warkworth, Ontario. Interment to follow at the
Warkworth Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may

Harry passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, November 21/07
at the age of 93 after a brief illness. Harry is survived by
his wife Elaine (née
GLOVER), Greg and Miki, Barry, David and
Samantha and grandchildren Amanda, Christopher and Noah. He will
also be greatly missed by dear sister-in-law Helen, Pamela, Peter,
Laurie, Craig, Nathalie and Matthew, Paul and Bev, Adam and Brianna,
Cindi and Gary, Eric and Ryan, Darryl and Pamela, David, Marlie and
Erika, Linda, Barry and Amy, Yvonne, Kathy and Pat, Ethel and Jerry,
Brian, Diane, Ida, Bill and Linda. He was predeceased by his
wife Phyllis. Harry graduated from the University of Manitoba
Pharmacy program and was a Canadian Navy veteran who went on
to be a long time, well respected business owner in the Canadian
Healthcare Industry. His passion for life was reflected in his
love of golf, travel, sense of humour and unfailing generosity
to family and Friends. He has truly left his mark on all of us.
The family will be holding a private memorial, with interment
in Middleton, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, please send donations,
