CAMERON, Betty (LUNDY)
Of Pike Bay, passed away on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007 in her 80th year. Cherished mother of Laurie (Doug) GIVEN of Mar and special grandmother of Kyle, Christy and Nicole GIVEN. She will be sadly missed by brother-in-law Allan (Teresa) CAMERON of Wiarton and sisters-in-law Jean LUNDY of Clavering, Jean CROW of Adamsville and Kay CAMERON of R.R.#6, Wiarton. Betty was predeceased by her husband Mac, her parents, brothers Frank, Bob and Art LUNDY, brothers-in-law Howard CROW and Jack CAMERON and sisters-in-law Jean and Jane LUNDY. Visitation will be held at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's head on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at Central United Church, Main Street, Lion's head on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. Ed LAKSMANIS officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Passed away peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Friday, June 29, 2007. In her 91st year. The cherished wife of Frank GIVEN, of Mar, for 71 years. Dearly loved mother of Ann and her husband Ted and Bob GIVEN, all of London, Gordon and his wife Janet, of Sackville, Nova Scota, and Dale GIVEN, of Victoria, British Columbia Loving grandmother of Michelle, Leah and her husband Steve, Michael, Mark and his wife Anna, Lisa, Travis, Meaghan and her husband Mark. Loving great-grandmother of Kailey, Curtis, Madison, Seth, Jake, Julia, Luke, Katelynne and Asa. Dear sister of Marjorie LEMCKE of Marathon, and Blanche BELROSE of Tobermory. Predeceased by a grand_son, Matthew, by two sisters Beatrice KENDALL and Elsie CAUDLE, and by ten brothers Victor, Russell, Norman, Raymond, Gordon, Charles, Clive, Walter, George and Elmer. Family and Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Wiarton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses: (on Highway 6, just south of Wiarton) on July 14th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Peacefully at John Joseph Place in Owen Sound on Sunday evening, June 3rd, 2007. Doreen Mae HARRON (née BEST,) of Owen Sound, in her 76th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Lorne HARRON. Loving mother of Lorna GIVENS and her husband, Bob, of Owen Sound, Bob HARRON and his wife, Patti, of Harriston and Shelley HARMS and her husband, Herman, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (John) HEATHERS, Jackie (Jason) BROWN, Katie HARRON, Kyle HARRON, James MERCIER, Amanda (Dean) GRAHAME, Amy BULMER, Jeff HARMS and Derrick HARMS. Devoted great-grandmother of Jessica and Jennifer BROWN. Cherished sister of Bob BEST and his wife, Doris, of Owen Sound. Dear niece of Margaret McCLEAN and Cliff JACKSON. Doreen will be sadly missed by her in-laws, George and Ethel HARRON, Sadie HOLLANDS and Winnifred FRASER, all of Kincardine and her many cousins, nieces, nephews and Friends. David SHEARMAN officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice as your expression of sympathy. Lady May Rebekah Lodge #188 will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 6: 45 p.m.
