GEATER,
Gisela
Elizabeth (née
KARSEN)
Elizabeth died on the evening of October 27th, 2007 at her Don
Mills residence. She was the dearly loved daughter of her late
parents (Dr. Arthur and Lotte
KARSEN,) the beloved sister of
Ingrid and aunt of Roseann and profoundly loved by Don her husband
of 57 years. She was a donor to many charities which included
her interest in the arts (she had a talent for drawing and painting),
children and animals. Elizabeth was a gracious and generous woman
who greeted everyone with a smile. In her later years she bore
her medical afflictions bravely with no complaints. She was an
example for us and will be terribly missed by her family and
many cherished Friends with whom she has left fond memories.
A private funeral has been held.
