be fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren and her 15 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by one grandchild and a brother Lloyd. Friends are

Grant was born June 18, 1918 in Winnipeg and has lived in Waterloo
since 1965. He was a graduate of McMaster University and later
retired from the staff of the University of Waterloo. His greatest
joy was spending time with his family and took tremendous pride
in the many accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Grant's life will be held in
the chapel of the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S.,
Waterloo on Wednesday, Jan 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Das

Bernie was born March 21, 1940 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. His
family moved to the Hamilton area in the mid 1980s, where he
and Isabelle ran a successful restaurant, "Isabelle's Takeout,"
for many years. Through the years he volunteered with Hanover
Minor Hockey, the Hanover Barons C Hockey Team and the Hanover
Legion. He has been actively involved in municipal, provincial
and federal politics and loved to travel, walk, sing and enjoy
the Friendship and conversations of family and Friends around
his kitchen table. “He never met a stranger.&rdquo
A funeral service was held Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11 a.m.
at the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover immediately followed by
a celebration of his life at the Hanover Legion. In lieu of flowers,

Mary MILLER died peacefully in her sleep in London, Ontario,
on July 10, 2007, after a lengthy and courageous battle with
cancer. Dave, her husband of 57 years, was at her side. Mary
was born on April 26, 1925, the fourth daughter of Scottish immigrants

Canada there, she studied nursing at the Montreal General Hospital.
She married Dave after her graduation and moved with him to Ottawa
and and then to London, Ontario, where they made their home for
over fifty years. Although Mary will be cremated and interred
in a private ceremony, we will hold a gathering for family and
Friends later this summer in her memory. We will publish the
details of Mary's memorial once our plans have been finalized.

on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the age of 66. Sheila will be
remembered for her independent spirit, her love of Friends and
family, her wonderful sense of humour, positive outlook and her
selfless attitude when thinking of others. She was supported
in her short fight by her many Friends and was determined to

Dr. SEDGWICK graduated from The University of Toronto, Faculty
of Medicine in 1943 and was awarded The Ontario Medical Association
Prize in Preventative Medicine and The William John Hendry Memorial
Scholarship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. A veteran of World
War 2, he served with The Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp in
Italy and England. After the war, Bill and Jean made their home
in Woodstock where he practised medicine for 42 years, retiring
at age 71. Bill was a lifelong participant and fan of many sports
and was a member of The Woodstock Curling Club and Craigowan
Golf
Club.
