Died peacefully at Eden House Care Facility, Tuesday, June 5,
2007, surrounded by loving care. Youngest child of Thomas and
Ida FEE, born on family farm in Holland Centre, Ontario. Predeceased
by devoted husband Norman E.
LAWRENCE (1994,) 4 brothers and
5 sisters. Loving mother of Bruce (Ruth)
LAWRENCE of Kitchener,
and Kathy of Guelph. Devoted grandma of Matthew
LAWRENCE and
Krystle LAWRENCE
(Ryan) both of Kitchener. Survived by sister
Mary MORRIS of Welland, sister-in-law Beth (Lawrence)
JONES of
Honey Harbour. Many nieces and nephews. Doris will be remembered
as a kind and gentle lady who loved babies, family gatherings
and puppies. She loved sports, baseball and hockey especially
and eventually football. Doris was an enthusiastic gardener,
fisherman, reader and card player. Doris loved cottage life,
working in the kitchen and people - the more the merrier and
always wanted to feed everyone who came to see her. Doris was
a care-giver all her life and retired from the Nursery of Guelph
General Hospital in 1979. Despite multiple serious health problems,
she was always fine, maintaining a smile and twinkle in her eye
and singing some tune while she worked. Sincere appreciation
to management and all staff of Eden House Care Facility for the
loving care of Mom since April 2004. Friends will be received
at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk Street,
Guelph, Sunday (7-9 p.m.) and a half an hour prior to the funeral
service which will be held, in the funeral home chapel, Monday,
June 11, 2007, at 1: 30 p.m.. Cremation has taken place. (Reception
to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Memorial
contributions to the EdenHouse Family Council, R.R.#2, Guelph
N1H 6H8, Canadian Cancer Society, 4A-214 Speedvale Ave., W.,

John
served his country in World War 2 with the Fourth Field Regiment,
26th Battery and later was the Wyoming Postmaster for 31 years.
He was also a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 388,
a member of Burns Masonic Lodge #153 and a former district deputy,
and was a former member of the Wyoming Lions Club. Visitors will
be received on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel,
Broadway Street, Wyoming, where the funeral service will be held
on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. Ena
