Suddenly at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, November 20,
2007. Born January 21, 1952. Survived by his loving wife, Maria
(BONIFERRO,) his three sons, Michael, Christopher, and Steven
and his sister Annie
HELM and brother Peter
HELM.
Predeceased
by his mother, Isabel DE
EYRE.
David will also be missed by many
brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and great Friends.
A passionate boater and sailor, David spent much of his life
boating in Port Credit, most recently as proprieter of Clift's
Marine Sales and Niagara Marine Services. He spent many memorable
years in Antigua, Grenada, and Tortola. David was one of the
founding members of the Ontario Yacht Brokers Association, and
past chair of the Port Credit Business Improvement Association.
He was also a director of the Southside Shuffle Jazz Festival.
An avid curler, golfer and tennis player. Dave will be missed
by his many Friends at the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club.
Dave will be remembered as someone who would light up any room
he walked into. Generous to a fault, he was happiest at home
on 'The Quarterdeck' enjoying a glass of wine and the great company
of family and Friends. We're comforted knowing that the many
wonderful memories he has given us will last a lifetime. Dave
DE EYRE is resting at the funeral home of Skinner and Middlebrook
Ltd., 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. (1 block west of Hurontario St.) Mississauga
on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in First United
Church, 151 Lakeshore R d. W., Mississauga on Saturday, November 24,
2007 at 1: 30 p.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers,
please make a donation in David's memory to the Heart and Stroke
